I started doing this last year and it was hilarious to see people look at me like I was insane. It seriously makes shooting much more difficult.

That was great, thanks! I have not practiced shooting with a handheld light much, and only the "isosceles" technique....which seems the most instinctual (but may not offer the best grip). The neck index looks a bit awkward, but depending on the pistol, could be really useful in helping pick the sights up quickly......

I found that the best "modified" harries technique is simply using a cigar-hold on the light instead of a full-fist. This is the best use of the combatlight IMO and solves the weaver to isosceles issue.

Sweet gun. Looks like a lone wolf frame? not sure about the trigger though...

You modified Harries us dangerous. Get a bad round it'll blow out the bottom. Mike Harries taught me the Haaries in the 70s. Still use it

I just blind my enemy with pocket sand long enough for me to flip on the lights 🤘

Only issue with the light by the head is the threat will probably shoot at the light with is right by your head

SC Shark Hunter I understand the thought behind what you are saying but when we step outside of white light application and into normal lighting conditions the person is just going to shoot at you instead of me being able to control what they see with a powerful handheld or weapon light in those dark environments. That’s why we want “all the lumens” so that on the person on the receiving ends eyes are overloaded to the point that they can’t even see or have the ability to navigate the area thus allowing you to maintain some control over the person. Distance and lighting condition obviously playing major factor into the entire situation.

HAHAHA. the "harry's" method completely works in the isosceles. but he has to change everything so people think it's cool.
