I loved your reaction (also finishing the episodes wanting some donuts). It amazes me to see how can make episodes lighter and yet with so much deepness in their characters. Can't wait for the next one
I've only watched a couple CZcamsrs react to Steven Universe, including the Galifrey Gals, and I gotta say, it is such a surreal experience if only because there were such huge gaps between episodes, so seeing y'all just watch chunks at a time is odd xD
I love what a novel concept a "Steven gets a new power" episode is, since we're so far away from season 1. And the show's anime influence is not subtle or secret, so the fact we got a baseball episode that was fun and also plot relevant is nothing short of astonishing.
Is anybody gonna talk about how Peridot's head goes square when she screams, "YOU'RE LYING TO ME!!" Lol. I don't know why Rebecca Sugar chose to put that in, but she did.
