Man if y'all were on the brink or staring to tear up at Steven telling Pearl she's strong enough, I can't wait for full waterworks later! Some of these scenes hit even harder even having watched them several times already.
Especially after certain revelations from future episodes. 😭

Coach Steven was legendary when it came out. A short episode summary leaked months in advance and mentioned a new fusion named Sugulite. There was a crazy amount of fan art of her before anyone knew what her deal was, a lot of which depicted in a much more similar visual style to Opal. We had no idea how much cooler fusion was.
The hats are so adorable! They make me so happy! I am also so glad that these are the episodes today.

Y'know, I knew exactly what the show was hinting at when Sadie said "player 2" but I didn't realize until now how MUCH it was hinted lol. Cleaned room, OYSTER crackers... I'm really surprised some of the jokes got through the censors and equally glad they did.
Coach Steven cemented my already strong love for Pearl as a character. And secured her the number 1 spot in my favorites, for sure (granted, she was already basically there by then, but this cemented it)
This show's ability to go from some dumb little kiddy show to a complicated show about feelings and human emotions is insane..haha, I am so hyped for this ride.
