    3:16.6 got the state record? thats odd id thought even tho utah is a distance oriented state theyd have run atleast a 3:15 before.

    why wasn't the second leg staggered?

    • @funvidsincorporated
      @funvidsincorporated Před 5 lety +1

      They probably used the 400m start lines instead of the 4x400m start lines. So the stagger was gone by the second curve as if they were only running a 400

    • @thomasmckenzie4584
      @thomasmckenzie4584 Před 4 lety

      They used the 400 meter start line and only did a 2 turn stagger. Sometimes it's just easier for the kids. I've seen so many 2nd runners run the entire leg in their lane. Idiots!!

    Is this even legal as a record? I'm fairly certain that prosthetic limbs do give an advantage especially in the 400m which is possibly the ideal race with someone with artificial limbs. Not throwing hate, just wanting to know more about this topic!

      @anthonymaine573 Před 7 lety +4

      El Blanco they do give a advantage a huge one actually it's been proven that they can go faster with half the strength of biological legs and can shave off a lot of time on a 400

    • @andriod3000
      @andriod3000 Před 7 lety +1

      Im pretty sure half the strength is a bit of an over exaggeration, but it does seem to be easier.

    • @anthonymaine573
      @anthonymaine573 Před 7 lety

      andriod3000 half the strength is a fact look it up a read a whole article on this topic where 2 different scientists did studies on whether or not it is fair

    • @hanane9446
      @hanane9446 Před 7 lety +8

      El Blanco nah true it's a little bit faster but it's not easy as a normal human body with legs it is really hard to manage running with them bc your brain is not attached to them to move your whole body has to work for it not like a normal body. so an amputee is hard for him to manage his legs and maybe give a little bit of a push but an normal runner has to only have the power. I just don't knew really how to explain it but I hope you got what I'm saying

    I’m a collegiate athlete for xc and track and field and I wouldn’t race against this guy, people applaud him for doing so well with a disability but when your disability allows you to run on legs specially designed to be as fast as possible that’s considered cheating. Olympians don’t compete with paralympians because it’s not fair. Their team would’ve won without him but having an anchor that’s wearing performance enhancing legs, should be considered the same as if they were using performance enhancing drugs

      just say that you wouldnt against him because you wouldnt want "a guy with no legs" to beat you... thats lack of confidence on you- lets hope in these last 3 years, you have gained some of that :D
