Hi Cole, nice to meet you and your family at the cafe after Leazes parkrun and have a chat. My big old meatball head made a brief appearance in this video 😂 I had a blast doing my first GNR and hit my goal of under 2 hours (1.59 dead with a Red Arrows formation flyover just as I crossed the finish line). I took your mum's advice and have signed myself up for the next 3 years earlier today. Looking forward to part 2...keep up the good work 😀
Ah awesome that’s so cool man. Glad you got a little cameo haha! I’ll let my parents know! Awesome about the red arrows, great way to finish. We’ve already booked accommodation for next year so maybe see you at the parkrun again!! 🤣

I kept an eye out for you but didn't see you at the start. It was quite a tough day to run that course. I came in slower than I wanted but still a pb at 1.47. Sometimes the weather gods don't go our way. But always another race day.
Gotta be happy with just getting round on Sunday, was a very rough day indeed weather wise!

@@ColeRunning hahahaha. To be fair, that wouldn't be the most unusual outcome in a Wallsend location haha. Literally a 5 minute walk around the corner from my house, couldn't believe it when I saw. Hope you enjoyed Leaze's Parkrun and the GNR!
Honestly the full rainbow is amazing. I ran in all black the last two days as all my colourful gear was in the wash, and it was just sad...

3:54 Callum distance project Elson has definitely never achieved anything more in his career than coming 2nd in an 800m race in Watford 100% not like he’s run a 3:35 1500 etc or anything nahhh
