He won the international exposure he was looking for, and this song, right after Eurovision, became the most streamed french song ever on a single day with almost 3 million streams.
And he’s also going on a World Tour.

Slimane is massive in France.
He won The Voice France 2016, robbing all french hearts from the blind audition onwards.
Since then, he has released 4 albums: they all monopolized the #1 seat in french charts.
All his concerts in the biggest venues are booked immediately.
He is known to be a very skilled vocalist, with an impressive range and a unique tone. But first and foremost an emotional powerhouse that always delivers perfectly live. He can sing acapella in front of large venues and is not shy to perform on the biggest scenes: he sang Mon Amour for new year's eve on the Champs-Elysées, in front of more than 1 million people.
He is also an amazing songwriter: he composed and wrote most of his own songs, and also has produced songs for the greatests of the french music scene (Amel Bent, Kendji Girac, Florent Pagny, Vitaa, ….), some of these were ranked in top 5 of France charts.
Up to, recently, for the great Lara Fabian: he is co-creating and co-composing her latest album with her, she released the first song "Ta Peine" (Your Sorrow), with a music video recorded on a sicilian beach, close from her home, and it is already a success.
Slimane just announced, after Eurovision, an international tour in Europe, USA and Canada that will kick off early 2025.

The fact that a performance and song like that didn't win just shows how political Eurovision has become and I'm Swiss btw. Nemo's song is really good tho but come on Slimane just destroyed anybody with just a mic and himself singing a classic love song, legendary performance 💯

@@monstr1470 If you mean choreography, camera work and scenery, I still think that Slimane had the upper hand, simple but really smart with the way he works with the camera, the 2 step away from the mic to show off his powerful voice without any instrumental, simply brilliant 👌
But Eurovision has become more than the live performance and the music that the artists shows off, political statements really makes too much difference for a song contest, still Nemo's performance was really good I can't argue that
He lost his voice during the jury show, he cracked multiple times during the a capella moment, that's why he didn't win it
The Main reason His result is "Bad" is that He failed the Jury Show.

Slimane made France rank 4th this year at Eurovision. It's not the winning place of course but it stays a very good ranking anyway. He received 12 points four times and 10 points several times by the juries. At the jury votingn, France reached the 2nd place.
About the public vote, France even got one more point than Switzerland: the country got 227 pts when Switzerland received 226. France ranked 4th at the public vote. Switzerland was just behind at the 5th place. Croatia (#1), Israël (#2) and Ukraine (#3) composed the public top 3. It means that the audience mostly preferred 4 other songs than the winning one.
Personally I stayed stunned that Croatia didn't win the competition this year.
