Stinging nettle is a leafy herbaceous plant that grows as a wild green all over the world in mild to temperate climate zones. One of nature's top nutritive herbs and vitamin-mineral rich plant-based supplements, nettles are available in many forests, foothills and coastal locations worldwide.
The common nettle plant has been valued for centuries as a nutritious tonic tea extremely dense in energizing substances and unique plant constituents that are nourishing to the blood as well as cleansing to the body. The wild plant has a rich history of use in European herbalism.

Fresh is better, give it a wash (to avoid unpleasant dirt and bacteria) than put it in the hot water pot, leave it for 15 min mins and add abit of honey (your preference.
This herbal tea plant has been used in Nepal ( mt everest).
My grandparent used to drink this every morning.

After 30minutes you can eat your breakfast...after some days you will feel a severe strange pain in kidney ,please dont panic that is a sign of the stones passing through, the pain won't last long...be drinking the water as you wish..I do it every 3, months.

I've got news for you : nettle still bites when it's dried. I've been there. the only way I could handle it safely when I dried it, was to very quickly dip it in very hot water for just a quick moment if I didn't want it to cook, then dry it. Then it would be sting free and I could store it for later.

The biggest problem with controlling diabetes and
weight through diet is that people are lazy . You can lead a horse to
water but can't forcethem to drink. Most people rather eat fast food ,
    factory frozen food
,protein powder and dairy full of casein that destroy the cells in
the pancreas and cause cancer (dairy is toxic)and take pills or shoot
insulin than to change their shitty eating habits. We live in an
    "instant gratification"
society full of people with 0 discipline or work ethic. Sad but
true .....Fasting" and intermediate fasting is the cure (controlling
insulin)....... for those people who are over weight
and UN-healthy , you should get
this book by Dr. Jason Fung from Toronto Canada his book will cure
    obesity and type two
diabetes . this book help me lose over 84 pounds . Read this book at
least two times and follow the fasting ,diet to control insulin ; check
    it out and read
    the reviews at amazon
    ;
    www.amazon.com/Obesity-Code-Unlocking-Secrets-Weight/dp/1771641258/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462303576&sr=8-1&keywords=Jason+Fung
    eat
every thing organic , no sugar ,no wheat , no dairy ,eat low carbs ,
    eat only one meal a
day and drink filter pure water with apple cider vinegar . before meal
every day drink two spoons of Vinegar with water 15 minutes before you
eat . and during the day drink 6 spoons of apple cider vinegar with
water . Vinegar must be in a glass bottle no plastic , plastic is toxic
.drink water all day , pure clean water . Water must be room temperature
...very cold water is bad for your liver .Apple cider vinegar controls
and brings down insulin and you lose weight . its not easy to drink
apple cider vinegar you need to get used to it .No coffee it will make
hungry and raise your insulin , slow your liver ,stress you up and down
    .

Mikke Raccoon, wow! those words of yours needed to be publish bks it is the plain "truth" people are just so stuck with pharmaceutical medicines and being addicted to it thats why they reason out that, bks their doctor said it so, they will take it all, as if the doctor really helps them, but the truth is, 98 % of doctors priscriptions don't cure, it is just to comouflage the pain for only 4 hours thats why when you are hospitalize, the nurse goes around to let you drink your medicine evry 4 hours, these pharmaceutical priscription medicines gives more 7 side effects insted.

How the Intermittent Fasting Diet Melts Excess Weight
You get up in the morning and drink a glass of water or a cup of coffee or tea. You can use a little creamer , almond milk or a natural low-calorie sweetener like stevia, and you can take your supplements if they don’t upset your stomach. But do not eat breakfast or drink anything other than coffee, tea or water.Do 30-45 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise-walking, jogging, cycling or whatever you enjoy doing.
After you exercise, get on with your day, but continue fasting until lunch. Drink water, coffee or tea. Don’t worry about being too hungry to make it through the morning. This fasting/exercise combo dampens the appetite, and the caffeine in coffee and tea helps blunt hunger as well. At lunchtime, break your fast and eat normally for the rest of the day. Get plenty of lean protein and low-fat, low-glycemic carbohydrates. Be sure you make healthy, sensible food choices. You don’t have to count calories, but you don’t want to pig out at lunch or dinner either.Twenty minutes Before dinner take two spoons of Apple cider vinegar that will help your body control insulin and lose weight on a low fat and carb diet .
But What About Breakfast? Yes, this intermittent fasting diet goes against the conventional wisdom that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But the difference here is that I’m suggesting that you wait to “break your fast” around noon, instead of upon arising. The caloric reduction that skipping breakfast bestows is huge. As long as you eat normal, healthy meals at lunch and dinner-without making up for the calories you didn’t eat in the morning-you will reduce your caloric intake by about 30 percent. If you do it for six days, it’s the equivalent of a two-day total fast, and one month is similar to fasting for 10 days.
The intermittent fasting diet takes advantage of, and expands upon, the 10-12 hours you normally fast while sleeping. By morning, your body is beginning to deplete the glycogen in your liver (from the carbohydrates eaten at your evening meal) and is starting to rely more on fat for energy. As your glycogen stores are progressively exhausted, your liver starts converting fat into ketones, which the brain and other tissues use as fuel. This fat-burning state is called ketosis. Aerobic exercise while in the intermittent fasting state is a crucial part of the program because it rapidly puts you into ketosis. Overnight fasting is a start, but exercise really kicks things into high gear. The fuel used during the morning walk you’re taking in place of eating breakfast comes from burning fat, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to lose weight. Even better, if you continue fasting after exercising, you will stay in the ketotic state, further reducing fat stores.
When you lose weight you also lose fat in the pancreas-ducts and the pancreas control insulin better .When you lose fat in the liver , the liver metabolizes fats more efficiently . A fatty liver is very unhealthy if you have a fatty liver its very difficult to lose weight . Eat low a fat diet , a low carb diet , No dairy . Dairy has high levels of fat and estrogenic hormones that cause weight gain . Eat a free sugar diet ,no tropical fruit, no juice, no frying , no oils , No nuts ,No Avocados they contain fats . Discipline & motivation is the key to long term success to Intermittent Fasting and a healthy lifestyle .If you are not a Vegetarian you should eat bison meat ,deer meat , moose meat it has half of the fat and its grass fed meat with no hormones to spike up estrogen . The solution takes a common sense approach to dieting and maintaining a healthy weight . In a nutshell, avoid foods that "spike insulin levels" (processed carbs) .Also avoid lectin foods like tomatoes , potatoes, beans, red peppers .avoid nightshades vegetables .Avoid all grains they spike your insulin and damage your stomach lining .
A few supplements I take 50 million probiotic enteric capsule a day , your gut bacteria controls your health and weight ;I take 1000 mg of magnesium a day 2x500 for heart and arterial health ,also Epson salt foot baths , 2 mg of melatonin , Three spoons of apple cider vinegar before dinner 'for better control of insulin and weight loss , ,,3 grams of L- Taurine amino acid every day for liver health helps to get rid of fat in the liver and thin the bile in the gallblader but Turine makes you a bit sleepy ! .The only fruit i eat is Grapefruit and lemons they contain Naringin and pectin helps you lose weight and good natural Vitamin C .
Naringin supplement or grapefruit powder pectin aids in the metabolism of food while having a low impact on the glycemic index. It is high in fiber and very low in calories and also helps to reduce insulin levels, which can help dieters feel full on few calories.
(Do not take Narigin supplements or grape fruit with any medicine )

This is called the Keto diet. High fat, moderate protein diet. Lose weight eating dark chocolate. Have to weigh your food to work out portions . I lost tons of weight, body was in a state of ketosis after a few weeks. My brain was sharper, I needed less sleep, healthy eating, moderate exercise. I had no illnesses before the diet, I used it for weight loss. Lots of Apple Cider vinegar, butter, eggs, greens, bacon, berries, organic burgers, dark chocolate. You can't eat out much because you can't have food cooked in certain oils & hidden 'non-diet' food in the dishes eg breadcrumbs in mearballs. You had to carry healthy snacks when out all day. Common to get constipation on this diet. Only downside, as with all diets, the second you eat your first chip in months, all the cravings come, for months you crave chips so you put all the weight back on.

I lived quite a few years in Michigan, & I can tell you it does grow there. Look in sunny patches near a natural water source, such as a stream or brook.
I am now in the desert, & if it grows here, it grows in Michigan. You just have to look harder, or all neighbors and friends, especially the elderly ones. They'll know. Or, order some seeds; Michigan, is the perfect environment for growing Nettles. Good luck.

STINGING NETTLE is plentiful on my property here in Michigan...
It grows rampant all over ....I gathered a huge armload from behind my barn ,yesterday. I put it on a screen, washed it and have it drying for later use as a TEA .
I made a cup of hot tea with some of it last night... added a wedge of fresh lemon and some honey from my bees.
My hands and forearms got stung from handling ..... still felt some stinging through out the night and into early afternoon, today. But well WORTH it! Lol
