Our Heavenly Father thought of everything we need for our body 💗
He sure did, it's in the Bible.
I know that it helps with arthritis and joint pain.
I did not realize that it was growing in a certain area of my yard. Not knowing which team it'll look like I thought it was a non useful plant. AKA: weed.
As I went to pull the plant up out of the ground of course I got STUNG!!!!
In turn I took a closer look so I could identify it.
Due to having to go somewhere within an hour of time I just left everything alone.
I have been having arthritis problems with my hand and at the end of the day it dawned on me that I had been pain free all day from the time I had touched the plant.
Since that moment I have been trying to learn more about it so I can try and help others.
I add fresh nettles to eggs in the morning. Yummo!
My introduction to nettles was when I moved to Idaho. I was bird hunting with a friend when I waded into a large stand of plants. I was wearing a T-shirt. My friend looked at me in horror, I couldn’t understand what was wrong. He explained to me I was standing in stinging nettles. For some reason they didn’t effect me. I saw nettle root supplements and investigated, now they use the whole plant. I take capsules twice a day.
Love all your info!
I knew of a man who had really horrible arthritis and would use a certain scorpion type to sting him every few months in order to control his arthritis. He said he'd never felt better since he began putting up with arthritis by using the scorpions to help him. He just happened to have been stung by one while in his bare feet and said a couple days later his arthritis was nearly completely gone. So he tested the theory that it may've helped by collecting one and allowing it to sting him. It worked like a charm for a few months.
Thank you dear Rosalee 💛💛💛
Lovely thank you ❤️🍀
Thank you Rosalee for all the Super info🌿💗🌿
I LOVE YOUR BOOK
Great information as always! Thanks, Rosalee
Excellent! I have been feeling challenged health wise recently, and remembered eating NETTLES 50 years ago while living in the forest, and foraging mushrooms and other wild foods. I now live in the desert, so haven’t really thought about harvesting nettles, But found dry nettle leaves at local Food Coop and began making nettle tea. It has made a huge difference, My love affair with nettles has been renewed. Looking forward to your E-book. Thanks so much.

Glad I stumbled on this. Lack of energy is an issue - and there's nettles growing all around me! Incidentally, I've heard that regular fasting can help with type 2 diabetes .....
Great information! We start our spring season with TNT. Each morning we have Toast, Nettle, and Tea. A very good combination.
Wonderful source of info. All need to know about this amazing plant, stinging nettle. I have been working on my stinging nettle liquid fertilizer for my plant these days. It is one of the best natural fertilizers and pesticides for the plants. Thanks a lot for the free gifts as well.
I just started drinking stinging middle I don’t really taste any different it just taste like tea but I am excited about all the health benefits I had a little gout flareup so that’s what pointed me in to the keys for the stinging nettle anyway I just friended you on CZcams and I will be listening to you all the time now
Thank you for sharing your wisdom. What a great contribution.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank u ever so much it benefit me I never trie be fore now I will have ago
I love mixing my teas. Favourite is Nettle, Dandelion leaf with a little fine liquorice root as a sweetener.
..if I can, all herbal teas if cooked, should be cooked in a glass pot (vision glass wear) NEVER metal pots because the herb will react to the metal (oxidation(?) ). Also if you drink nettle tea you should stop drinking coffee
So glad i found your channel today!! I'm just getting into medicinal herbs this year by growing and foraging.
Welcome!
Thank you Rosalee for this very informative video. I have had nettle tea which had good diuretic effects on my system. I've also made nettle soup which was really delicious and two years ago I juiced it with some fresh cleavers to make a spring tonic cleanser. I live in the UK and it grows prolifically almost everywhere. I also plan to do some more juice with the cleavers to make a skin lotion and also a soap.
Stinging nettle is awesome. I fry it with coconut oil, garlic and other greens.
Thank you so much. I used to hate it but now I'm in love with Nettles❤ I used it as my plant compost tea now I'm gonna add to our dishes😊 Liked & subcribed👍 Thank you again ❤
Wow thank you so much for this valuable info. New subscriber
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video, thanks.
Tres intéressant.
Merci!
I use it as a tea and a pot herb, it also get sauted in a mix of domestic and wild greens
I use it in tea daily, also just made a tincture, have made Spatzels as well as just cook it with olive oil and dandelion greens as a side dish.
I have been following your videos and signed up for your newsletter etc. I just want to say what an inspiration you are for little budding wanna-be herbalists like me. Your beautiful soul shines through in everything. Thank-you.
You are so welcome! Thank YOU for watching!
Hi there! You just now popped up on my you tube page! I have two HUGE patches of Stinging Nettle on my property. I am trying to get into the uses of it. I cut some the other day and its drying to try making tea with...
I like the explanation, stinging nettle many people ignore it because they don't know what it's used for
Nettes growing in the wild I’ve seen them over eight feet tall. These plants can really get big if they are near a water source. Like a river or stream.
Loved your video and I've recently become a Nettle nut! Thank you!!
You are so welcome!
I have used stinging nettle to make a pesto sauce as well as making a tea for sinus issues it is an awesome planet
This is a WONDERFULLY made video! I absolutely adore nettle for seasonal allergies and was curious about what else it could do.. there were many videos but this one stood out :) thank you for making this informative and delightful video!
So glad you enjoyed it!
thanks for this video, I know nettle but learning more now of how many health benefits.
I do have out breaks especially on my face, my doctors cant seem to find the cure, after watching this video , I am impress to try nettle. thanks, God bless you.
I like what you are saying and I have to confront my ego and get going with nettle.
Hi Rosalee, today I found your video about the stinging nettle in my yt recommendation list. 👌🏻 professional knowledge and the genuine presentation made it a pleasure for me to watch and listen to it. Thank you and greetings from Germany. A herbal plant fan ☘️🌿🌱
Glad it was helpful! Have you seen my interview from Swanie about herbs for animals? She's German and is a fellow nettle lover as well.
I am new to herbalism and am somewhat reluctant to grow stinging nettle (for obvious reasons), but, after listening to this video, I may consider growing this at some time. Or at least finding some somewhere. My mom has continual pain in her back/neck and we have tried many things to help with this. The doctors just say there isn't anything they can do to help with pain. I am trying several things and would be open to looking into this. Thanks for making this video. And I have one of the books already and made one of the recipes using thyme and cherries to help with sleep. Excellent book. Thanks for making this video.
This tea has definitely lessened my bloated stomach and I am sleeping better. I am unable to get fresh nettles, so I am drinking a cup of nettle tea daily.
I love nettle, I use like tea, like juice, put in flour makes chupati , makes, spinach mix nettle, I use different methods from long long time.
I have a wilderness patch at the bottom of the garden that i pick from fresh. I drink the dried tea in the winter
Thanks Rosalie for all this great info. I've been using nettle tea a few times per week but will now do it daily and see what happens. I'm on a sugar free low carb diet also which is helping my rheumatoid arthritis. Cheers
Thank you for interesting video for how long you can use nettle leaves in capsules thanks in advance
Great information. I'm going to increase my nettle intact starting now! I also give it to my dog. Thanks.
I give the dried tea to my dogs and also drink it myself.
Thank you. Well done. I learned most about Stinging Nettles from Dr Duke’s marvelous home patch that anyone could come and harvest. He encouraged experimentation with ourselves as our own laboratory.
Where can we buy your book? Cause we live in South Africa.
i add a little ginger to my tea, warms the chest in winter or slice of lemon in the summer.
Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome!
Stinging nettles are one of my favorite herbs/vegetables. I use it for everything. We make a lot of food with it during spring, I dry it for tea and I make a wonderful white wine with it too. 💕💕 Nettles
How do you make wine with it? Where can I find that recipe?
@@vinceaiello3163 if you are an experienced wine maker you can use the recipe in “Drink your own garden” by Judith Glover. It’s available on kindle and you can find copies on eBay as well. All other places it’s very expensive. The reason I say you have to be experienced, is that JG doesn’t add many instructions and measurements like gravity in her recipes. Otherwise they are great. There are also recipes for it online
Wow!
Been reading for years it grows wild on our property and our neighbors poison it. So I’m trying our ‘organic’ variety soon!!!
Thank you Rosalee for sharing your knowledge. I take nettle tea daily and recently added rhodiola to help me repair my body after recent surgery.
