The Bv206 has a newer model BvS10 that compete with the Bronco, the Uk only use the BvS10 now from what I can see on Wikipedia and are ordering more. Maybe because the BvS10 is owned by british BAE systems
yes they called it the Viking.. but that was replaced by Bronco in 2010.. of course they prioritized British system first.. the Bronco was retired in 2014-2015 and offered in a very cheap pricetag..
I like these types of vehicles and the Bronco 3 will probably be introduced in a while after it is further enhanced. The current version of the Bronco is still relatively new equipment and the replacement of it will be the successor either the 3 or maybe a to be developed 4.
I hope you are all safe and healthy i just saw your vulcano post. It is an active period in both solar flares and seismic activity. Stromboli in Italy also became active again late last year. So be careful out there.
Stay safe and healthy brother 👍
that's right.. maybe the Singapore Army will replace the current Bronco 1 with a further developed Bronco 3.. I also assume it will be called Bronco 4.. maybe we will see it in the next decade..
thanks brother.. we prepared for this.. so far a volcano near my town isn't active yet.. that's a relieve..
Stay safe and healthy too brother.. 👍
sorry for my late response.. I had a really bad cold yesterday.. made me bed ridden the whole day.. 🙏
@@PacificFront the most important thing you have is your health. Just take care of yourself and we will have patience. Have a wonderful new week.
@@jacksonteller1337 thanks brother.. drinks a lot of water helps..
have a wonderful week for you too brother.. 🙏
would be very useful for a SE asian countries since the rain would make the unpaved road muddy like after the winter in russia, finland, and sweden
that's true.. some of Indonesian terrain is still too difficult for tracked vehicle to traverse.. I think with Bronco it won't be a problem..
@@PacificFront i heard that kopassus or whatever unit in the army have a small number of this kind of vehicle
@@fujii_natsuooooo really? but it can be.. Kopassus might have one of this, looking at their operational nature..
For me, the most important vehicle in this class is the Bv 206, it was the original machine. In my opinion, it is the perfect vehicle for armies operating in particularly difficult terrain. This is also a wider problem that many countries in Europe have, which traction to choose for military vehicles - wheeled or tracked? The mobility of tracked vehicles in difficult terrain gives them a huge advantage. You recently wrote about the purchase of Brazilian wheeled Guarani vehicles by the Philippines. I also praised this purchase myself, wheeled vehicles have many advantages. Fighting in difficult terrain, I would prefer a brigade that has one battalion on Bv 206/Branco vehicles, the rest on tracked, mobile, floating IFVs like the Polish Boruk or Turkish Tulpar. Such a brigade will not give any chance to a brigade based on wheeled vehicles in a difficult, wet, wilderness. But that's just my opinion. The choice between wheeled and tracked tradition is never easy.
the Bv206 maybe the first of its class, but in terms of protection Bronco is better.. that's true.. with this we don't have to choose between tracked or wheeled vehicles to support a brigade or division for example.. in here some of our terrain is too difficult to traverse even with a tracked vehicle.. I think something like Bronco can be a solution..
sorry for my late response.. I had a really bad cold yesterday.. made me bed ridden the whole day.. 🙏
@@PacificFront I hope your health is better now. Branco/Bv 206 are not the answer, they need the support of classic IFVs and sometimes also MBTs.
@@JanKowalski-he3gh thanks brother.. I'm still recovering right now.. but I feel much better..
that's true.. Bronco or Bv206 and its kind is only a second line vehicle.. they're there to support IFV and MBT..
@@PacificFront You have to completely defeat the disease, untreated infections are extremely dangerous. I also wanted to draw attention to the advantages of tracked vehicles in difficult terrain, of course, the mobility of CV-90, Marder, Lynx is completely different than that of floating IFVs. Recently, Philippines, Indonesia are investing in wheeled vehicles which have their limitations.
@@JanKowalski-he3gh yes.. I took medication too.. but no antibiotics..
I really want the Army add more tracked vehicle, especially IFV.. but sadly no additional plan so far.. the most recent ones are 50 Marder we bought together with Leopard back in 2012..
👍👍
😁😁
Last year, Singapore bronco lose again to Bae system bv206 (?) for usa army
ah too bad.. Bronco 3 seems superior than the Bv206 in my opinion..
It just a slightly bigger vehicle compared to others 🤔 like the bv206
@@MrPicanto yes.. slightly bigger and more protected.. Bv206 looks like it doesn't have any protection at all.. its skin is too thin..
