- Hey there everyone!
Happy new year! I'm very excited about what this new cycle will bring! Actually me and my friends had this reocurring meme that 2020 was going to be the best year ever, and everything would be amazing, the year of the rat!!, stuff like that. I'd like to believe that meme, idk? I have a good feeling about 2020. I hope that I can share this energy with you guys, and maybe everyone's year will also be amazing! Amazing doesn't mean perfect though, because expecting the year to go by without anything bad happening would just be unrealistic... Just... A good year! I'm rambling at this point but I just hope for the best for everyone!! I talk about my art, illustration and productivity goals in this video, and I'll try my best to fulfill them! Being more active on CZcams is something I've been thinking of doing for a while and now I'm finally willing to try. Let's see how that works out! I'm excited to learn about your goals as well! Let's all try our best in 2020! Once again, thank you Pestilento for sending me these!

°study more Korean
°focus more on my French study's
°draw and do more art outside of school.
•But my main goal is to *lose 30 pounds* ( ╹▽╹ )

Yo! These girlies are so expressive and warm-lookin... reminds me of summer. Also, I absolutely LOVE that you are just doing what you want to do as an artist. Personally, as an artist myself, I had to quit posting art on social media because of the unspoken pressure of drawing for others, not for yourself. Re-learning to draw without doubts like 'how good will this look on social media' or 'is this good enough to sell' is one of the hardest, but most freeing, things (this is just in my experience tho! Everything has it's pros and cons, right?). So it's awesome that you spoke out about that :^) Wishing you the best for the new year
Waes you’re a huge inspiration to me. And I get what you’re saying by feeling trapped by the mindset of I can’t do anything else I feel that too and I’ve been wanting to just kinda branch out with my art. I draw a lot of cute girls and yeah that’s fun but I’ve always wanted to make super creepy surreal illustrations. And I’ve been pushing it off but honestly this video has helped me realized I shouldn’t push it off anymore. I’m gonna work hard towards this goal of just being true to myself!! And I’m proud of you for breaking out of that mindset and I hope you succeed in your new year goals!!

Obrigada por esse vídeo, eu estava meio chateada recentemente, porque eu não tenho um único traço e isso tem me deixado frustrada, mas pensando no que você disse eu consigo olhar as coisas por um outro angulo agora.
Esse ano eu quero focar em cuidar da minha saúde mental, e espero ter alguma melhora no meu tratamento contra a depressão e a fobia social. Além disso eu quero desenhar e pintar com mais frequência, porque eu fico muito desanimada e acabo não fazendo isso tanto quanto eu gostaria. Eu quero tentar sair mais de casa, e me alimentar bem, cuidar mais de mim de uma forma geral. Essas são minhas metas principais.
Your feelings to having a new art style is totally me right now lol. Before I use think having an art style means drawing the same thing over again but I took a step back and realized that’s actually not helping me grow as an art. So I shifted my perspective and just decided draw things out my comfort zone and things that I wouldn’t usually draw. I think that makes super open minded and it’s healthy for you and your art.
This is really cool! I like the way you paint first and ink afterwards. The watercolors are so vibrant!

I feel the same! I would love to manage my time better and be more productive with work, art, and my health. Trying to establish all the habits that will help me get there :) I hope you accomplish everything that you want to, I know you can definitely do it! Be kind to yourself, because it is definitely hard to manage everything on your plate.

I'm really happy you're enjoying exploring your limits and capabilities in your art, as a noob water colour artist I always scramble to watch your process and then gasp in awe at your creations. Thankyou for throwing more content at us to devour, we're really just here for the ride.
My 2020 goals are to:
-put time and effort into learning Spanish
-put time and effort into learning AusLan (Australian sign language)
-looking after my mental health for once (sleep is a biggie in this department)
-practice balancing work, social and chill
-allow myself to create more casually without pressure to do well
