He's an extremely successful chef for a reason. One reason is although he's an amazing chef, he's still a student of the craft. The best people never stop learning. I don't think he "performs" for the camera on his show. He expects greatness out of those he's trying to instruct.

It should be added last after the meat is cooked, then stirred in well and immediately stop the cooking.

Proud moment for Tribals. Top chef Gordon comes to tribal area to learn about tribal dish from Indian Tribals. I must suggest Gordon to explore more this is just one chatni you had; there are so much more dishes made out of natural flowers, leaves, roots and other insects and they taste so delicious 90% India is unaware about. On top of that tribal food is extremely healthy. Spend time in remote villages of Chattisgarh and Jharkhand be with the absolute original people of India, protectors of the land, forests and water and feel the real Indian taste. Also add to your list - homemade alcohol, tribal music and dance. Johar !

I've seen a lot of confused comments about the ant chutney, so I thought I'd clear it up a bit. It's from one of Gordon's documentaries where he travels around India and learns about the food. That chutney was from a tiny obscure tribe in the north, where they don't have any easy access to a protein source. You guys have probably never heard of it because according to the video it is pretty much exclusive to that particular tribe :)
