Well, people who ask for prayers are never going to succeed. Just be natural, motionless, try to be abstract and don t impose pressure upon yourself. As far as I can see it, this exam requires mental strength and you obviously don t have it, considering that you are shivering and praying.
@@roxerc You're being harsh on him. You tell him to be natural, but it happens that it's TOTALLY NATURAL to have stress and to be afraid of this exam. The guy is telling it's been 4 years that he's preparing for it. That means he's serious, and knows already what's to do to succeed. He's just worried about it and is asking some encouragement. One of my extended family members passed the UPSC and has a top ranking railway position, but doesn't even earn that much. According to my mom, he's one of the most honest people she knows, so I guess people grind for this exam for honour or something because the effort it takes to study for this exam only to have an extremely small chance of making it is definitely not worth the money as you can make far more money elsewhere.
Well it's more of the power and respect you get from the society and the job that makes people want this job. There is tremendous job security as well, and while the money is not huge, there are facilities and perks, especially at the more lucrative jobs that make people want to work hard for the job.
These however are not the main motivation, people that usually enroll have a great desire to serve society and work for the benefit of the country and people, so while there are those benefits, it's mostly a service to the country.
What you people think in there salary what people don't consider is their expenses.
1- they don't need to pay for their bills, healthcare, wifi service, their staff salary, driver's pay ,petrol prices.
2- they don't need to spend that much on travel.
3- you can take double the amt. Of your salary if you are doing extra work.
4- the satisfaction and job security.
5- things on which ordinary people crib about is bad in their life ,ias officers can change them in seconds.
6- everybody respects you, you have the power.
