To run on current affaires, it's important to have sticky notes all over the place but in an organised way. It helps. Facts, figures, government policies, important events, you don't have to go to the Books everytime, just have it infront of your eyes and you'll remember it forever.

Jaby about that whole notes thing, it's easier to remember facts and figures by using sticky notes because that way it will always be in front of your eyes..so you can have a quick revision anytime you want whether you're eating food or relaxing...so it is quite helpful

It has feel of "Dil Chahta hai" and not "3 idiots". In "Dil Chahta hai", there is rift between Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna. Saif ali khan is played as mediator (SK Sir) in this case. Reference is also made in later episode of the show
In 3 idiots, families shown very conservative and harsh on their children.
But this whole story explain importance of family.

The notes are in the wall coz upsc syllabus is so vast.Finding small details from books isn't easy that's why it's more easy to make small notes

UPSC- IAS is literally and literally the hardest exam on this planet with an success rate of less than 0.001%.
The presssure it puts is beyond the capability of normal students, not only academically but sociologically too.

Lol here in western India there is no such craze for IAS as such. Even in my final year of college hardly anyone discuss about it or knows about it. It's only through social media in these times that every part of India is getting to know it. I hardly can relate to this show. And I don't regret it at all. It's craze is more in the northern parts i.e. Delhi, (because of political center), UP, MP, Bihar , Jharkhand etc (because those states have been exploited by politicians resulting in backwardness and hence people want to change that). Well that is not the case in other states. I don't consider it just as desh seva because it's not in its entirety. There are other reasons for it. But anyhow all the best for all the students. I guess this "aspirants" is the new age word to call themselves. So all the best Aspirants.
@@akp57akp lol i m from Bihar and i gave u reasons why bihar and up students crazy about upsc because here u only have to do job either in railways, upsc,bank,army ,iit ,nit everything related to study because in western India u have much more opturinty u can do business, become artist , there are many things to do.
@@sunriseorsunsetitsallabout187 Yeah I can understand your situation. Its all because of the politicians that your state has to suffer. Naturally if there are no opportunities people will tend towards government job for security. Here in my state people are dying to quit any 9-5 job and do something on their own.
But i think people on a large scale have to change their mindset. You also know that people are not just aiming at government jobs because there are not options out there. But guys are going after highest position service in government sector. Which clearly indicates that not only the politicians enjoy power but also everybody like the power and position. My many friends are from UP-Bihar and they tell me that more higher rank in government job you get more bribe from bride's family, the rate card gets increased. That's unfortunate thing. They like the environment here without much fuss about class and caste, it's not completely free and perfect but comparatively they feel better.
All I can say is all the best for whatever you are pursuing and may you become the medium of change the society needs desperately. May God always be with you 😊

It was Hard to watch first 30 mins, Boring, but then, By the end of episode and each episode, the series melted like Fine icecream easy to digest all emotions, UPSC things which many relates many don't know abt it like me.... Its 2nd best series after 1992 Scam this year for sure...
Seriously dude...The Opening montage of "Aspirants" is one of the most epic opening to any TV show i have seen...
I mean i really liked it with all the SK monologue and the BGM...
The maiden episode was everything as it implanted an excitement to watch further.

I would recommend you to do a little background info check about the 3 words "UPSC", "IAS" and "PCS" for a better understanding of the series.

There are way too many references to catch, you would'nt follow them. I started preparing for UPSC 2 months ago, and this series is so relatable! 8 to 12 hours a day of studying is a mandate. I wish I could actually visit Old Rajinder Nagar

UPSC is an exam which gets you to highest post in India possible through a competitive exam(highest bureaucracy post). Its very reputed & students toil years to crack it , mostly end up failing & sacrificing 6 years of life.

and worlds 3rd most difficult exam......
It is very very difficult exam......
IAS (bureaucrat) is the most reputed job in india. Its like every parent's or in laws want this guy... although bureaucrats is not high profile job in other country. But in India IAS holds much more power than politicians in some cases. To sum up its almost equivalent to Secretary to State or Secretary of treasury level rank officer in USA Although democratic setup of USA and india is way too different. Its just to give u rough idea about power/ authority it holds in india.
An IAS abhilash is shown District collector in present which holds almost equivalent post to mayor in USA

UPSC is the toughest and the most respected examinations in India. Every year more than 1 million graduates appear, only 1000 get selected, who take upper positions in various departments of the Central (Federal) govt. Like Tax officers, Foreign Ambassadors, Chief of Police, Forest officers etc.

Regarding the notes think.. It's very Legitimate and they keep them. Pasted in the wall... So that they could just look at them while just chilling and continuous revision whenever your eyes fall on it.. Better than opening a book multiple times.
