The reason the MS 70 pop is so low is few people grade uncirculated high mintage bullion coins. There are many MS70 out there still ungraded..
I have a 600 + pieces of slabbed certified ASE. All are PF70 SP70 RP70 EH70 MS70. I collect multiple scarce dates. I don't stack silver I go after gold rounds and bullion. ❤
What if anyone had a ms 70 1976 s bicentennial silver quarter not proof and would love it to be graded ??
What if they are tarnished? I have a 1992 no mint mark. I believe it was uncirculated when I got it.
Those are some big mintage numbers but when you compare them to the number of people in the country and how many went overseas and how few ms70’s actually exsist it will be a hard coin to actually find
For that kind of money you can get a PL key date Barber half or a MS trade dollar or something even better that is actually numismatic.

Their condition/etc. has no bearing on the question of _bullion_ coins, sold by the "Monster Box" to The Anointed Few.

Compaired to the heritage auction pictures of the ms 69 the coins I have would be the same if not better under scope
My 1996 silver eagle has a gold tint around the edge. I know there were problems with discoloration but not sure about the gold tint. Anyone have any info?

Would it be worth buying a coin in a MS 67 or MS 68 condition.
If you are referring to ASEs I would suggest only purchasing these coins in a grade level 70 if they are in your price range if not then try grade level 69. Anything lower than grade level 69 you are wasting your time and money.
I hate 2 that my Mother gave me in black velvet boxes and dates are 1999 and 2000. Never circulated.

My Eagle collection has every year 1986 through 2021(type1&2) and ALL are MS70 condition...they just haven't been graded 😂😂😂

During the silver “shortage” of 2021 they produced 13 million type 1 and 9 million type 2. In 2020 they made over 30 million.
Silver wolverine said that the type 1 had a mintag of 11 million were minted and type 2 had a mintage of 13 million. Either way I 2021 will be a key yr.

No - there are no mint marks .
You are fine .

Any ASE bullion coin does not have any mint marks on the coin and if certified then the ASE slab coin could be referenced to a mint as in “Struck At” showing either a (W), (S) or even (P). Example PCGS ASE MS70 or MS69 2021-(W) or (S) and (P) being the most important one for collecting.
What if it is ms69
Interesting - no mention of the 95 proof W or the 19 S enhanced reverse proof. Go figure someone will pay, let alone grade, that much for coins out of a tube.

Maybe I should rethink graded bullion. I have a few in 70 that I got in a couple collections , but haven't ever paid more then 5 over raw or graded as they aren't really a favorite.

The lowest mintage BU ASE is 3.6 million in 1996. That’s not very collectible. There is possibly a million MS70 around. This coin is for stacking. If you want a uncirculated numismatic bullion coin, mintage should be at Most 25,000 if not less. If some people pay too much based on lack of knowledge and hype , it doesn’t mean it’s worth that much. There is always someone who confuses stacking with collecting. However a LCS might give you a extra dollar or two for a older ASE in BU condition, most just pay around spot.

All bullion coins don't have mint marks, they are ment for a silver investment .....Except for collectors editions.
