For someone who told Seth Meyers she hated doing stand up she does a great job.
I guess you can be good at something but still not enjoy it
I just saw that too... My thoughts exactly!
She also insists she hates history. I'm starting to think she may not be telling the absolute truth all the time
That is so funny! I was thinking those exact words! I watched that interview yesterday.
I heard it said that Eddie Murphy hated stand up (or at least had bad stage fright) and he created some of the best of all time. As others said, you get good at it through practice (especially if your living depends on it) but the anxiety of standing in front of a crowd never goes away. Some never return to it after landing TV/movie jobs...
I am so obsessed with her I can't stop watching her. The humor, the delivery, the jokes, oh my God, pure perfection. She's such a gem. So unique love her so much
You need to jerk off once in a while...
I love her as well!
Reminds me of that CUNK ON BRITAIN Actress
No, IâM obsessed with her and canât stop watching!
You know comedians are good when they don't even have to try!đ€Ł
Her "Mandy" character creation is so surreal that it blew my mind & I love her to bits!
Diane remembers her roots instead of being greedy& abandoning her country, like a certain James Corden, which I never liked him anyway so the Americans can keep him!
"Fortunately, she was an absolute moose" đđđ
âEveryone loved Steve - except the murderer!â Diane Morgan is hilarious, so glad sheâs getting more gigs đđđœ
She gets plenty of work. Low key she's a millionaire
The old adage 'Don't try to please everybody' would seem to be accurate - Steve should have kept the murderer happy and not bothered about anyone else for a while... đ€·ââïž
Not sure what you mean by getting more gigs, this was her stand up from years ago before she got famous as Cunk, she gave it up she isn't doing "gigs" anymore cos once she found better success she gave that up cos she didn't really enjoy doing it, she only did it to pay bills before she got a higher profile.
It always makes me laugh whenever they describe a murder victim as a âloveable rogueâ, which is clearly code for âmouthy thieving wanker who could start a fight in an empty room, the thieving twatâ.
There was a young lad like that in our area. He was a violent, thieving, troublemaking psycho who you darent turn your back on. When he died unexpectedly his mum said "Everyone had a good word for him" and indeed we did - a good word for him was C**t !
A boy died in my school from sniffing lighter fluid. "A lively lad" was code for a disruptive little brat.
@@barnbersonol is lighter fluid that dangerous?
@@EventideBlackFox butane gas, yes.
The euphemisms used in obituaries of dead celebrities are just as ridiculous.
"He was larger than life" = morbidly obese.
"Life and soul of the party" = had a significant problem with alcohol.
"Had some controversial views" = Everyone hated the racist old bastard.
As an hopeless pessimist, this ressonates with me at a molecular level.
Diane is a treasure.
Don't be down! I was miserable and depressed but I turned my life around. Now I'm depressed and miserable.
My favourite bit that really made me laugh is when she says "when someone dies they say he's gone to a better place. He must have had a pretty awful life if you think that six feet underground is a better place!"
That really made me chuckle đ
Itâs true, I say this during every murder documentary. Nobody ever says â to be honest Jim was a nosy, busybody, dogooding twat, nobody liked him. We really werenât that bothered when we heard he was deadâ
Itâs just convinced me that people lie when they are Interviewed for these things.
I found the best way to avoid a murder or kidnapping is to be a homely asshole. It's worked so far.
Having been interviewed for one of these soundbites, I realise they always ask at the court case, or at the funeral. So there is considerable selection bias, it's not exactly a scientific poll.
The Onion did the _what-if-the -interviewed-were-honest_ version of a girl kidnapping with her 2 best friends, it was hilarious.
In Spain, everytime a killer or terrorist or the like is catched by the police, the neighbours answer to the reporters with "I'm surprised, he used to greet everyone on the stairlandings..."
@@estrafalario5612 Yes, if a friendly neighbour greets you with "Good morning, lovely day again" it's probably best to put one between their eyes.
I was wheezing laughing when she got to the "flying through the windshield" bit. I love watching this woman
I have never seen Diane stand-up before, but it was great! She admitted later she hated it though and wanted to do comic acting, at which she is great.
"mm mm, flying through a carwindcreen, thinking . . . . . " kept me laughing all day long.
That was my favorite line, too.
I love Diane and her observations about old ladies announcing the trains hit home! I am sadly that age now and find myself telling the world my age!
I love that for you !
You've got nothing to worry about until you CAN'T tell people your age. đđ
But, of course, then you won't know so you'll still have nothing to worry about. đ€Łđ€Ł
Getting old ain't for sissies.
Just keep laughing and enjoying what you have. đđđ
So happy to have found Diane Morgan on CZcams I didn't know she was out there. Her humour is typically Lancastrian which as a Yorkshireman I appreciate as our two counties are quite close. I've often been called a pessimist where I now live in Mansfield, but when I broke my ankle while potholing back in 1986, that was my attitude... "At least I can have a few weeks off now".
Oh sheâs definitely âout - thereâ , in a good way . â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
"She was an absolute MOOSE!" đ€Łđ
The amount of love I have for this woman cannot be measured with current technology.
she's a national treasure.
If this is Britain's national treasure, then that country is doomed
International*
@@kulio1214 Boris doomed it
Universalđ
â@@kulio1214 They've already been doomed with their previous picks for "national treasure". Lol.
She used to be in a double act with Joe Wilkinson as well called Two Episodes of Mash. Some of their best work.
No way!!!
Omg thanks i didnât know this
No Lifty No Likey
I gotta track that down!!!
In the US, we don't use the word "destroyed" like that. Instead, we're clumsy -- we "lose" loved ones, and if the solution is simply to look harder for them.
Didn't know she's a comedian. I knew she's witty and hilarious with her dead-pan delivery. Guess those came from somewhere.
You should see her in the TV show, Mandy. Hilarious. Most of the episodes are here on You Tube and are only 15 minutes long.
She's a comedian?
@@dannyarcher6370 I love her but man this barely got a chuckle out of me! She's amazing on the deadpan straight face delivery as Cunk but that isn't written by her so it makes sense why its so good compared to this... its a shame.
@@bingonamo7520 I second that suggestion. Mandy is worth a view.
@@dannyarcher6370 She'd probably call herself a "comedy actress" but yes, can do stand-up too. She's brilliant.
Love her on "After Life." Beautiful woman.
After Life is trash đïž
@@TommyVercettisGamingNews yes, it is atheist bs.
@@amvp8743 i prefr Atheist bs over Religious BS, at least no one gets beaten or tortured.
@@enkilqc I don't know, After Life is pretty torturous.
@@TommyVercettisGamingNews It's lucky for you that you have imaginary friends, because you won't get many real ones with that persona.
Best media cliché when there's a tragedy somewhere is " this tight knit community struggling to come to terms with its loss" like we're living in the 1950s.
The old: "That kind of thing never happens around here," like there's one special place in the area where all the murders are supposed to happen, to keep everything neat and tidy.
Not only one of the greatest comic creations of the century (love ya Philomena!), but pretty good stand-up too. And next Diane
Diane, showing us all that her talent is multi-faceted.
When most celebrities merely turn out to be two-faceted.
I could listen to her forever. Lovely voice.
Enchanting
Especially that Bolton accent.
Very good looking and smashing body too. Very intriguing female. I fantasize her not engaging into bed whining.
North of England accents are my all time favorite. Thereâs something musical about them.
This lady is funny
Somehow, I feel like she'd fit well in a role of a mockumentary host
Just smth about her
Look up Philomena Cunk. Your wish has been granted.
You're not gonna believe this...
So this is gonna sound CRAZY
Ive some news for you, she did & it was on my birthday
30 jan
Chunk brought me here and I canât stop laughing. Sheâs hilarious
The wee fat one from the Goonies?
She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to comedy in the longest time. GOD! She is a revolution.
The bit about regional accents for automated message at the start is hilarious, I made a call to Zoopla yesterday and the voice was Diane Morgan - I cracked up đ
She's hilarious
Diane is an amazing talent!!!
Every time a robot talks to me in an Australian woman's accent I die a little inside.
Greetings from Australia x_x
She's since said that she hated doing stand up. But gee whiz, she's very good. She should have an hour stand up special on tv.
Are you seeing her body language? She's scared shitless.
I think she said she disliked it because some audiences can be so rude.
her stand up has a norm MacDonald quality to it but in a really refreshing British way
Good spot. I could imagine Norm doing the murderer stuff.
Dianne is sooooo underrated.
My number 1 weird celeb crush
Same bro
It's not that weird
She's an attractive female, what's weird about having a crush on her?
@@KarlPilkington89 probably because itâs very untypical
@@nickevershedmusic8927 "it's very untypical" what do you mean by that exactly?
Love the âpositive thinkingâ bit
Huge crush on this woman shes got such an amazing personality đ
I want a Diane Morgan telling jokes from inside my christmas tree too.
I always say that about missing girls and women, because itâs so true that the media does that! đ
I went to school with Alice Kikvert who died from toxic shock. Her death was a big thing in the UK and every good thing said about her in the media was completely true. She was one of the most genuinely kind, intelligent and warm people I have ever had the privilege of meeting and I'm a person who thinks everyone is a cvnt
@@j9lorna may she rest in peace
@@j9lorna Thanks for sharing but that has absolutely nothing to do with people going missing or being murdered
@@j9lorna That 15 yr old girl? Anyway I barely got info about her must be the region lock, may she rest in peace
@@katzea.a7880 yes the exact same. She was the most intelligent person in class by far. She was a member of MENSA and had a very bright future. There is a tree in the grounds of urmston grammar in her memory
''A wank of builders'' is my new fave collective pronoun haha
As a construction worker I can say, I insist on it being out title.
"A wank of builders" - LOL!
The destroyed pet thing made my day lol!
Nice to see her doing stand up again.
Cursed profile pic. May god have mercy on your soul
đđđDiane Morgan. Thank you for being you!đđđ
Not seen Diane do stand-up... love her!
"a wank of builders" đ€Ł
That was really funny. Never seen her stand up before but Iâve always adored her Kunk character. I heard her talk about about how she always hated to do stand up, on an American talk show, so I am genuinely surprised at how damned good she is at it!
This program is The World Stands Up and is actually from 15 years ago in 2007 according to IMDB.
Yeah, before her cosmetic surgery, filler, and botox, addictions began
@@thelastmotel Really all I could pick is that she probably can afford to get her hair done at a better stylist and get some more expensive makeup. The surgery must be subtle because generally you can tell.
Diane is the best! đ
She looks like Aubrey Plaza and the deadpan humor is top tierđ
That would be a GREAT team.
right
We had our cat vaporised under the full beam of a low-orbit ion cannon. There wasn't anything even wrong with her, at least before the cannon.
Sometimes you just have to use a pre-emptive strike before things go out of hand. đ
@@RyanRyzzo It's the only way to be sure.
It was such a pretty cat, too. đż
And it was such a quiet low-orbit ion cannon... Always kept to itself.
No trouble to no one. Always very polite... but a bit of a loner.
And then suddenly, boom!
Comedy is hard...
Good way to get rid of toxoplasmosis
She's hilarious! How sad she actually hated stand up, according to her. I just saw her say it in an interview with Seth Meyers
I guess that's why she seems like she doesn't want to be there in this video. Lol.
She was joking..it's Her style.
â@@andrewbroughton65 she said it several times before. I think it's touring and performing in clubs that she doesn't like

It's a great set. She should do much more.
She is funny is hell. đđđ might be my new favorite comic
I loved the "destroyed" part. That really is true.
That flying through the windshield part is totally me! When I got angry and punched my living room wall the first thing I thought when I heard my finger break wasn't "oh dang my finger!" it was "that's probably a few weeks of work!"
What a brilliant comedian she is. Shame i didn't know about her, until I saw her in After Life!
check out the 'cunk on ' series
"Shame I didn't know about her, until I saw her in After Life!"
Not sure if this is a brilliantly created deliberate comic misunderstanding, but if not, I've got great news for you: After Life is not filmed in the actual afterlife using an entirely post mortem cast and crew. Diane is, in fact, still alive and producing fresh content for you to consume :)
My new favorite artist.
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł fab! Donât know how she manages to make so much dead pan negativity so light hearted!!
She is so bloody brilliant
Wow I just seen her a few days ago and I'm already absolutely in love with her comedy
After Life is such a great show and to me the cherry on top was finding out about Diane Morgan.
Woman hasn't aged in twenty years. Absolute God-tier genes...

So good!
Iâve just discovered her. She is so funny! đšđŠ
Cant get enough of this girl
Positive thinking: "Flying trough a windscreen thinking i might get tomorrow off".
HAHAAHAHAHAHAHHA đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Couldnât agree more about people saying murdered girls are pretty and that boys are always wonderful and highly thought of. I alway say the same as she didâŠâ not to the murderer he wasnât.â
And when they say that a murder was surprising because it was such small quiet place where everyone knows everyone. Murders happen anywhere. If there were only 3 people left on the planet, one has the potential to be a killer; one the victim and the third an accomplice or a witness.
Two of UKs best comedians Diane and Peter Kay...both from Bolton đ đđ
Thatâs the first thing I felt when I had my recent bike accident âOh, I guess I wonât have to go to work for awhileâ đ

Thanks for uploading - she's very funny. Any idea on the date of this release?
I need to see her do stand up â€
We had him annihilated lol

A great set and a breath of fresh air, Diane. Thanks. Thanks to Crack Up for posting.
The delivery is so wacky! I love it. :)
I didn't even know she did standup, too, great stuff!
She's so damn good đ
The positive thinking bit resonated with me just a tad. When still a teenager back in about 1983 or thereabouts, I had a mishap on my bicycle whilst travelling down a steep hill at great speed. I was launched into the air over the handlebars as my bike crumpled beneath me. To this day over 40 years later I can still remember vividly being in the air for several seconds thinking to myself "Thank fxxk there's no traffic coming up the hill.." and then "but this is probably going to hurt a lot..."
As it happens... I ended up avoiding hospital treatment. Was just badly grazed in a few places. To the bone on my elbow. But it healed fine with chemist bought products. We were proper 'ard back then I tell you. lol
Mind, it DID help that the first car up the hill as I came to a final halt at least 50 feet away my now wrecked bike, and about 30 feet from my spectacles which had departed my face on impact with the road luckily, was being driven by a doctor.. Who after watching me leap to my feet cursing loudly at my stupid bike, informed me that in his professional opinion I was fine to walk home and treat my wounds with bandages and savlon etc. (I lived 5 minutes walk away. 50 yards from the nearest chemist luckily lol)
Half full? Half empty? The physicist says, "Actually it's mostly empty space". The engineer says, "Obviously the glass is twice as big as it needs to be". The technician says, "You gonna finish that?"
Get tmrw off đ€Łđ€ŁSorry am on crutches and laughing my socks off plus my air boot ..
Cats love that last joke.
âLesbian!â lol!

I want to watch the full clip of this stand-up
"Oh he was very popular, he always hads friends coming to his house... At random times throughout the night... On their mopeds... They never stayed long though, rather thoughtful of them really"
My dad had a friend he worked with.
The guy died in a work accident, my dad went to his house to give condolences to the guy's family.
The guy's wife told my dad he shouldn't have come because as soon as the guy died their lives became better.
Apparently the guy was a big time asshole to his own family and the wife had no qualms telling everyone at the funeral.
Jokes on her for choosing to live with such an asshole when she could have just left him when he was alive.
