  • Howdy guys! This time on the AutoEdits Jeep Wrangler Rubicon build up and upgrade series... I install a set of Baja Designs LP6 Driving Combo lights and a set of four rock lights. Plus, I'll go in depth on how I wired everything in to my Jeep with the Painless Performance Trail Rocker system but the same techniques apply to any switch system.
    Here's a link to the Baja Designs website for more information on the lights: www.bajadesigns.com/Products/...
    Head on over to the AutoEdits Amazon store to get the best deal on them!
    www.amazon.com/shop/autoedits
    Realized someone might look for the switch panel I have so here it is www.painlessperformance.com/w...
    There are lots to chose from on the market so pick what you like best, this one has worked well for me and I have one in the Mustang as well!
    Thanks so much for watching... please subscribe and hit the bell for notifications!

    Kind of an overkill solution, but you could install a Lingenfelter STOV-004 speed activated switch to kill power to your locker switches at programmable speeds. So they would essentially never be able to be activated at a certain speed to avoid accidentally turning them on.
    I am using 2 of the speed switches to control a couple things in my own build and they are great!

      I think the answer is (but I'm no expert) that they sell the lights separate and installing connectors on them would require the end user to commit to that style. It's probably a good suggestion that once they get bundled into a "kit" they have the connectors installed but that's just me.

    Is the low the flood and the high the spot? I could barely concentrate on what you were saying after you talked about the widow biting your head. My jaw dropped and ptsd from living in Granada Hills came flashing back. I’ve only seen 2 widows since moving to Oklahoma and thankfully the brown recluse we do have don’t usually climb up into the vehicles. I find them under stuff. Hope you healed well Jason.

    Why wouldnt you want to be able to run both the low and high beams at the same time on the Baja bumper lights?

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  Před 3 lety +1

      That's exactly what happens when you switch to high beams so there is no need to run the same power to both wires at the same time. The internal circuits are not designed for that... plus... added bonus... I've been in some bad weather and it was so nice to run the low beams without disturbing regular traffic and they made a huge difference.
