This light looks familiar... but we aren't sure where we have seen it before.🤨
😆 I do like your lights better but they are out of my budget right now lol
You got anything you want me to do a review on? 🤷♂️
Are your light manufactured in China? Or the housing bought there or something. Always wondered how they get the designs.
You asking me or Baja Designs lol
@@jeepzandthings I was asking BD. Seems like all the expensive high end manufacturers get their designs ripped off right away.
Amber fog lights are by far the NO. 1 best for seeing where you are going in heavy snow or thick fog
These look kinda green. I actually looked up reviews on them on amazon, and one person confirmed my suspension. How green are they?
Thank you for your help
Awesome video!
Thanks buddy I appreciate the support
I just have the leds, super bright
you should check if the baja design lens kit replacement fits these. mine broke a couple days ago
The amazon knockoff is roughly 2in smaller than the Baja Designs light, so I dont think their lenses would fit
How wide is the flat mounting base? Thanks.
What size did u get? I’m looking to get the the 7inch for my 03 forester but im not sure if they’re big enough. I would rather have it bigger than smaller. Since two smaller lights just looks funny to me. Anyways great video
Thanks. Bigger is better in most situations lol. I went with the 7 inch lights
Could you please tell me where you got the brackets to mount the lights on?
I just purchased a set of these. Any issues with them so far? I read in the reviews that some people experienced condensation buildup in the lenses or worse.
Wish you had video on how you wired up to your main fog light switch. Also did you add a relay to the wiring? Thanks! ✌🏽
No issues yet it's been over a year and they work great. I've even considered getting a set of 7 or 8 to go across the windshield
Did your day time running lights start to flash when your vehicle was running ? The lights I have worked fin until I started up my Jeep then the DTRL started to hyper flash
No. I haven't had any issues
So you tapped into your fog lights harness so they will come on when you turn on your factory fog lights ?
Just the halos
@@jeepzandthings im confused. Arer you saying you purchased a new fog light harness and spliced these lights into the factory DRL wire so they come on when the factory DRL come on?
No i used my original plug for the fog lights which i no longer have because of my arb bumper and amd wired the halo for the LP9 knock-off into the fog light power wire.
Is the lighting color yellow or yellow green?
Yellow
Hi, are these 50w or 90w? The link you provided says it’s 50w in description. But title says it’s 90.
From what I can tell the 5" is the 50 Watt and the 7" is the 90 watt. There are 2 sizes
@@jeepzandthings Thanks budd. I could see similar items, I am guessing you got the one with more reviews ($64 per piece). But thanks for the find. It actually looks like BD 😅
I went with the most reviewed, but the price has gone down a lot since I got mone
Are these the 9” or the 7”? I cannot hardly find the 9” ones anywhere
They are LP9 knock-offs, but they are roughly 7" in size
How long until you got them some some said a month or two to get?
About a week for me if I remember
how are they holding up? im thinking of buying the 5" knockoffs to upgrade my ditch lights
I love them they're decently bright they handle the vibration from all the bumps and dirt roads and I havent had any issues with water behind the lenses
I would recommend they aren't as bright as BD but for the price I have no complaints
@@jeepzandthings what amp fuse do you use for two of these?
Heres a great video I found czcams.com/video/RJCOTNRQcTM/video.html i didnt worry about fuses because the aux switches in the jeep already have fuses
@@RICEY702 Even though they are rated at 90 watts, I was only getting 50-55 on mine. All of my lights tested at 4.3A on the bright mode, so a 10A should be good for 2 of these.
Have a link to what wire you used all 3
I just got wire from ACE hardware I think it was 16 guage
Would a original lp6 light cover fit ?
More than likely not
You got a link to where you got them

Think the baja design covers would fit them?
No, the amazon knockoffs are smaller
@Jeepz and Things someone was saying. Possibly the lp6 covers would fit on the knock off lp9s
It's possible. The dimensions for both are available on both respecive websites
Nah you got robbed, it’s literally $12.15 at ali baba
Mine has moisture issue on 1 pod :/
Thanks for the heads up I'll keep an eye out for that. I read a lot of reviews befor I bought them and most people said they have great customer service
how have these held up? any moisture or failure?
No issues yet they have been very good so far.
I got same and some moisture but I am in Florida so tons of rain here
@@andrewbouffard6118did you try waterproofing? I know many people like to add silicone near the gaskets to prevent water from entering
were can i find the bracket
If your talking about the bumper bracket, it came with the bumper
Hi there. How are these holding up over a year on?
So far so good. No issues
Do you have a link were you ordered them. @jeepzandthings
@davidsettle8456 link is in the description
Is there a link to these lights

These are similar. I can't find the exact brand anymore 7 inch 90W Amber Yellow LED Driving Light Compatible with Jeep Wrangler Off Road Vehicle ATV UTV Golf cart Lighting Trucks Pickup Ford f150 Work Light, Pack of 1 a.co/d/7TdQCzT
Think i found them . Order 2 or is 1 a pair?
Order 2
I have the the 7" and 5" are those 7 or 9"?
They are 7" they are just supposed to be the LP9
@@jeepzandthings I just found 9" version and was thinking of swapping to those but I haven't seen any reviews of them. It actual dimensions.
I get ya, I always go with the highest reviewed. When I upgrade, I intend to go with name brands like KC or Baja Designs
you are not going to go back and solder those... dont you lie to me.
I might lol

Thats a good spot in the video
dude! electrical tape holds in the moisture. unwrap it after a rainy day and you'll see. also, ur butt connectors are not UL rated. they can be used outside if covered with heat shrink (not tape). your best bet would be to replace them with UL butt connectors that have wax coated heat shrink already installed. dont beat youself up tho, im an automotive electrical specialist so i see this stuff all the time.
thanks @richardmurphy435, I intend to upgrade to name brand lights like the real LP9 or ARB intensity in the future and do the install right with solder and heat shrink
