you still need that ac?
In the future, purchase a small portable gas generator and small $150 windows AC unit you keep in storage/garage/closet.
Things we are definitely wanting to know
Just for power back 77095
Centerpoint needs to be federally investigated
Two center point truck were here last night in Pasadena and I asked when will the power come back on and he said tomorrow or the next day.
My sister is 87 years old and lives alone in Richmond Texas no refrigerator no air conditioner it's scary
I think the problem with Centerpoint's repair crews not being 'pre-staged' might come down to how fast Beryl was moving and changing direction.
In the end...Centerpoint has no idea....
It’s because they all put their head in the sand with these models. There was a time when weathermen actually gave personal input in addition to the computer models. But now bloggers like spacecityweather and local media just repeat whatever the models say.
Power went out at exactly 5:30am midnight now still waiting
Life endangering for the elderly and disabled on oxygen 😢. Send help to Cleveland TX Entergy please 🙏.
I bet it was to keep their expenses down. Asking 10,000 crews to mobilize on a weekend is overtime 💰💰💰💰
This is terrible I am in the woodlands area and we have no gas and barely stores working on. Entergy is doing anything about it they are not even providing updates on their status page…there should be a switch with these monopoly energy providers… where is the help and why has been taking so long? More transparency in the process is needed. Hope everyone is staying safe and keeping cool
Same thing every time 😢😮
We can complain all we want and nothing will be done..
I’m a country boy, so I can survive
and not care, or was that a joke
Meanwhile living off the biggest generator off the block
We dont eat possums round here
Every year it seems most experts say weather patterns will continue to get worse and more severe. If the grid is NOT going to be updated and strengthened to reflect and counteract these changes, then atleast PERMANENTLY hire more Linemen to always be prepared for what we all know will continue to get worse every year. Isn't it obvious if you have to regularly outsource crews from out of town and from other states that they need more employees? Center Point at the very least should have to pay for all the food we keep throwing away. Most companies that regularly fail to meet their customers needs go under. It's time for a change.
Can't handle a cat 1. Florida light and power laughing.
Would think I would think probably because the media has been telling us all week that it was going to go to Brownsville I had one day to prepare. Thank you.
