How to Untangle Mixed Hair for Newborns

Continuing my Mixed Curly Hair Care series, I'm showing you how I detangle mixed newborn hair for mixed curly hair. Right now, our baby girl’s hair THREE different curl patterns, so trying to figure out which products work best for her curly hair is a neverending journey. But also thank you! I’m due at the end of this month with a baby girl and her daddy is Dominican and I have ZERO experience with curly, textured hair! I want her to grow up loving her texture and curls. This helps us for the beginning that’s coming so soon!

OMG she is so adorable and kissable!! My daughter is mixed with tight fine curls too and I nurse her mainly by line feeding her so she had a bald ring. Her hair texture was all over the place lol.. until my husband convinced me to shave her head. It was hard because as women we don't want our daughters bald but I used water and sealed with jbco 2x a day or jbco before bath time and her hair is beautiful and curly now.
