Hello, I love your video. I'm from Vietnam
Welcome to Vietnam
At 4:17, you may see there is a vertical void right below the Clock, this space previously held the Statue of Queen Victoria, which was later shifted to the Victoria and Prince Albert Museum ( Bhau Daji Lad Museum) in Byculla, Central Bombay ( Mumbai). @Attache. The Railway Station was then renamed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from the then existing Victoria Terminus.
The McDonalds at 5:03 is the first McDonalds to open in Bombay ( Mumbai) and probably the first few in India in the 1990s.
This guy is very calm, polite, and respectful, plus very open minded. Enjoyed very much.
+Dhyan Oza Thanks so much! That's exactly what we're going for.
trur
Dhyan Oza yeah he’s just normal
Shame about the awful, shoehorned in attempt at humour followed by completely contrived "laughter" masquerading as some kind of outtake.
I have been to India (and Mumbai in particular) on numerous occasions, travelling with my husband on his work trips. I was warned how much I would hate India and how I would never want to go back.....Well how wrong those people were! I absolutely LOVE India. Yes, there is a real depressing element, seeing the poverty, dirt and stray dogs, but put that aside and you can experience India for what it really is, a truly exotic destination with the most delicious food, friendly people and most interesting historical sights. Our best times have been spent roaming around and getting lost in the local markets and streets looking for "bargain " gifts to take home and trying the delicious local snacks. I suggest any tourist in Mumbai should try out the local Kulfi (Indian Ice cream) my husbands favorite.
Liza Medina Hi Liza! How safe you felt in Mumbai?Do you think it's safe enough to travel around alone, with camera equipment?
Hi I suppose it all depends which areas you travel to. I would say you are pretty safe with Camera equipment no problem.. unless you walk around dodgy areas alone at night. use your discretion. I dont think as a woman that I would personally like to travel there alone.
Liza Medina Thanks! The thing is, I'm 38, well build man, and I'm not worry about my stuff, I just don't want to get in trouble.:-)But I guess I'm not the only one.
hey guess what, pakistan is burning right now lol
+Zoltan Nabradi Mumbai is one of the safest cities in the world. Feel free to refer to crime states per capita of various cities.
Im a 24 guy, and for me life starts after 7pm and on occasional weekend I get back home after 1 am. However as a local guy i know what places to avoid at midnight. Anyway, overall never had any issue ever.
India is such a wonderful and amazing land !!!! I visited it this year and....WOW !

Liz Jourdain always wlcm in India

the people who stare or are curious about stuff, often are those who do not have much in life and for them seeing something unusual is exciting and something new!
"I love Mumbai, It's hot, it's noisy, it's chaotic, but God I love it!" Mumbai is very special to its people. Can't wait to be back in my city
I love it, I cannot wait to get back.
I haven't been home in six months. Going back next month, can't wait to breathe my city's air again:D
jfk 7890 it’s hard to say man ! I had been to almost all major cities (hyderabad, bangalore, Pune, Delhi, Goa, Ahmedabad, etc) of India and Mumbai always felt special to me ! and now I got a job in Mumbai 😁
Him: Mumbai is so noisy
Dhaka: Am I a Joke to You?!
As someone who has spent a years time in Mumbai ,Juhu...Maharashtra, you DEFINITELY need to try the Bombay veg sandwich, there is an AMAZING spot right by the college in juju maharashtra....quite popular. It has cooked potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicum, beets,etc...with a wonderful green chilli, coriander paste....and some ABSOLUTELY Delicious powder of spices(VERY SPICY AND YUMMY)! YOU CAN HAVE IT GRILLED, BUT I RECOMMEND NON-GRILLED.🥪🥪🌶🌶🌶🙂
I have lived in Mumbai for 25 years and have seen numerous travel shows that take you around the city. This, by far, is the best description of Mumbai I have come across, simple and very reliable. Keep up the good work!!

Man this was such a wonderful video you made. I felt it was all very honest, respectful, and informative. Great job good friend.
Thank you! I think of my time in Mumbai very fondly.
+Attaché Vist Dhaka you will be amazed
mumbai my life
Not sure you can describe smell, though.
I love this show. I stayed in Mumbai in the late '60's so it was a bit different. I plan to return next year for a visit.
+Graham Mulligan Thanks! Mumbai is an incredible city, like nothing I've ever experienced.

haha i think he was seeing an opportunity to sell his stuff to the tourist
I stayed in Mumbai more than 3 years , I have my good memories there .
Excellent documentary. You make me appreciate Mumbai, when I was getting a bit intimidated
Mumbai is incredible, you'll love it!
I am from Mumbai and I live in the UK for the pst 13 years. You video makes me emotional! Lots of love!

Go learn English properly.
Mahidhar Kedam and where is your malala queen she has also left pakistan and went to london lol
Thanks for the great precise details!!
Best episode thus far. And you swapped macdonalds for local food which is wonderful.
+Paul Coman thanks so much, I'm really proud of this one !
I LOVE how you described the negatives in a way that wouldn't scare off people.. because that's India and a smart traveler understands the pros and cons without outright 'hating' on a new city/country!
Amazing video. Long live Mumbai and India!!!!
+WorldWhirl thanks!
Attaché No problem! Maybe for your next travel guide, you could go to Chicago? But anyways, keep up the good work!
Why would anyone go 'ughhhh' at Mumbai's street food? That's the one thing that attracts me to the city.
+Diana Devonish I'm always amazed how people are so reluctant to try new food, especially street food. They're missing out!
seriously tho, im from mumbai but i hate maharashtrian food. Its dull to say the least. Id take delhi street food anyday.
My best friend's wife (we are American) would just die in India, she's a germ freak, everything has to be clean. She couldn't believe nobody wore gloves while preparing food. There are a lot of people from the West that just aren't comfortable eating food that isn't prepared in a spotless environment. I will be returning to India for my 3rd visit this winter, I cannot wait to eat more street food!
This is the most qualified tourisism review I can find on the Internet, thank you for sharing with us!
+Nicolas Lee wow, thanks Nicolas, that's a huge compliment!
I have never seen a better presentation of Mumbai by someone from an international country. So glad y'all made this! Thank you
What a very colorful city! Cant wait to visit mumabi and india soon
Another fantastic video ! Keep it coming guys !!
Nice compilations.
One suggestion: Why not cover the important places to go in a city for tourists ?
I understand it takes more time and the video length increases too. But it would become a complete guided video of a city tour.
It can be a snapshot of places explaining a bit about it. Only that much.
Keep exploring, Keep rocking guys !
Thank you so much for this video! I am heading for Mumbai next month and this video really made me look forward to it!
+heykoen I'm really glad to hear it! It's a wonderful, wonderful city.
My wife and I traveled to Mumbai back in January of 2016 and truly enjoyed our stay. Wife was fascinated by the smell, sound and the friendliness of people in the big city. She wanted our visas extended, but we there on business and time was limited.
This was by far the most accurate representation of my city.
Not only did you provide the correct information but your knowledge about the locals ( Local Trains) was to the tee.
You're always welcome again and hope you can explore the suburbs as well.
+Digitalboom thanks so much! Accuracy is something I strive for in each show. I am really looking forward to returning to Mumbai and indeed exploring more of India.
Outstanding Attache...
I felt so proud to see my city in your list...m still getting goosebumps..m away from India and Mumbai since 2 yrs now and the video made me nostalgic .....
You could have covered and provided some information about the nightlife @ Mumbai. I am sure the tourists from the other parts of the world would want to know about that.....
Cheers
+Dhaval Ved wow, thank you so much Dhaval! We've had a few requests to cover nightlife so that's something we'll try and work in to future episodes.
I follow a youtuber rumena101 who snapped her journey through India. she was in Mumbai, Delhi.....and she's off to goa now. As a British Pakistani I couldn't help feel a strong connection to India.....like its our mother country almost ...Pakistan is from India.... Everything I saw through her snaps was just like Pakistan..... its so sad, such beautiful majestic places..so torn apart. I hope we see peace and love grow
Well...I'm about 2 years late to reply... Idk but I couldn't stop tears...maybe cuz my family comes from Sindh and we migrated to India in 59. Live a grt life ahead.
Attache. Great video. Thanks for sharing and exploring Mumbai. This is great..
Perfectly picturised & very informative,,,great job alex...
Mumbai is the blend of humanity it has poorest the richest the slums and also the most expensive house in the world.
Its soo beautiful...I love Mumbai.
I do too :-)
Attaché Same...Just love the contrast of how such a big diversity lives all together at once.
Its just lovely I dont know why....Its just unique in a very different way...the crowds and everything its just amazing.
Mumbai is the city who never sleep ,always found hardworking peoples ,it's a dream city of people's who do hardwork 😊

A great guide :)
+Sahil Shekhawat thank you very much!
Thanks for the awesome depiction of my city....proud to say that i lived in mumbai!!!
Loved this! I lived i Mumbai for twenty years. Yes there have been changes, but the heart of the city is the same. I'm so homsick right now I could cry. And I'm sitting in my apartment in Waikiki ... but still India calls.
Hi its Pratik.. Born in Mumbai.. guys Mumbai is the city where you can visit to whole India at one place.
Pratik S. Kedare You will never get to experience the true cultural diversity of India only in Mumbai city though. It is just a mere city, where one can only experience the 'modern', progressing India. You would truly have to move around different states to experience the diverse and rich cultures that exist in India.
cute dolls
Yes North Eastern people are also present in Mumbai.
enjoyed alot that is all what Mumbai is that's y we love it:-)
such a great city!
+Attaché please visit NEW DELHI plse

Lucky - I live in Northern jupiter, and i cant even afford to enter the earths atmosphere............
had to rewind some scenes, cause I couldn't focus on what's said with all the hilarious gawkers in the background :D enjoyed it :)
lol welcome to India. White people are still a novelty in India which is why you have people blatantly staring at them out of curiosity. Also, if you have camera crew, people will swarm around you even if you are an Indian :)
can't wait to go to Mumbai this July ;-) looking for all the great ideas!!! thanks for an amazing intro! i'm SO Excited
I’ll be going to India for the first time in December. I’m very excited! Thanks for the tips

Attaché Wish to see you guys covering more cities in India :D
Fantastic video man
Thanks for the video, headed to Mumbai in a couple weeks and feeling a bit overwhelmed on what to try in the short time I'm there. This helped a lot.
you missed out on Bollywood , the largest film industry in the world to which Mumbai is home !
Hindu India isnt hollywood the largest film industry.
Long live California Bollywood largest by ticket selling while Hollywood largest for vast audience and while Chinese industry is largest for having most screens in the world
Joydeep Hazra ok
@@Hey-py2hb loll not hollywood Bollywood is the largest film industry in the world and mumbai is the Entertainment hub of the world
Hey you came to my home country :) It's always feel nice to see one's city portrayed from a visitor's point of view. And trust me, I really really fell in love with your upload again(as usual like all your previous ones). But in the food section I think you missed quite a lot. I recommended everyone having panipuri - undoubtedly the most popular street food in India. Also sweets (a type of Indian dessert) - Indians can't live without it. Don't leave India without having Indian sweets you won't find this anywhere in the world xD And biryani ofcourse(type of rice) - the mouth watering delicious food and its smell for which you are going to come back again and again :p You showed chai(tea) and thalli which I also recommend to everyone :) In the transport section you missed out the rapid transit system(or metros) although it does not cover many parts of the city. I also recommend checking out Delhi and Calcutta when visiting India. Its worth checking out the iconic Taj Mahal (very close to Delhi). Both the cities a lot of Indian heritage and tells about her past. Calcutta was once the former capital of India during the British rule and still contains the remains of it. It's worth visiting during the festival of Durga Puja or Diwali.(equivalent of Christmas and New Year) - the biggest festival of India and learn a lot about Indian gods and goddesses. No doubt wherever you go believe me you will be rewarded with a lot of different traditional cuisines in different parts of the country. And you are bound to fall in love with each of them xD Next time I recommended you for a bigger section for food when visiting India :)
+Sajid Hossain this is absolutely fantastic feedback, thank you. i wish we had more time for food in each show - perhaps we need to make the show longer!
Subscribed! Really high quality in all of your travel guides. Cheers
+asdasdasdasdasdasdsa thanks!
Binge watching your videos! Love these!
Nice video man. Hope you got some "Home Run" during playing CRICKET :-D . Visit again..

You have demonstrated Mumbai, in such a nice way. Hats off to you! i am happy you liked this bustling city
I will take any (literally *ANY*) town and city in Japan over this. Thank you very much...
Jinhunter Slay You are very much welcomed not to visit. Bye!
Mehul Jain Bye! ^^
***** *YES.I.WILL.DO.JUST.THAT!*
+Jinhunter Slay and why is that?
Jinhunter Slay ya
my only criticism is you used a marathi guide before food section but mumbai is full of people from all over india and you should have at least 5 food segments: two covering marathi and gujarati including parsi, irani and rest three from each major area of india: east, south and north ... north could have a mini segment on punjabi which (with its chicken tikka) is most popular export of india
I agree
Kya chutiyapanti hai bhai
More than the city the way of this guy describing this city is pretty impressive
Wow awesome video!
Loved the video. I am from Mumbai. You should have used the subway on that road to cross the road :p...
That's totally what I was thinking! Hahaha I was cringing because I never cross that road from up, I always use the subway
+Vaibhav Narula You will love reading this : spiritofmumbaikar.blogspot.in/
They must be using the subways in their home countries... And now he's in India so he decided to cross the road as we Indian's usually do😂😂😂One sort of adventure for Alex though
wait....you went to mumbai and you did not talk of bollywood ???
Great travel videos with high production standards! Love it!
Thanks!
u r great men, so beautifully u hv represented mumbai, u r a perfect guide
How does an Indian say bye to his mom?
Mumbai
Bravo👏👏
😂
Just my two cents - as safe as you guys may have felt on the streets, for ladies, I highly suggest not travelling alone... just saying!!
that applies to each and every single city on earth be it london nyc paris or Mumbai or kabul
what u say its totally wrong ! BTW Mumbai is a rat hole !
That's not true. Singapore is very safe for ladies to travel alone, even in the middle of the night. Beijing, Shanghai, Penang, Malacca, Taipei, Kao Xiong, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto and Seoul are also safe. I wonder what these cities have in common?
@ktkska 888 Confucianism.
Then should not come,, such scary Travellers who believe much on propaganda are not welcomed
Great video adopting attaché
Great video! Definitely a must-subscribe for any seasoned traveller!
great video ...but you must visit CHANDIGARH CITY IN PUNJAB (INDIA) ...most beautiful city according to BBC
+T singh I'd love to!
I wonder if you will do new Delhi
Glad I found your video. It was very helpful. I am looking forward to my visit.
Oh god, not Cricket! As a Brit, even I cannot stand that lol.
+Curtiss Wu (MASTERWU) haha yeah I'm still not 100% sure how it works myself!
Best part are the slums.
we'll try that soon you'll have to find a new best part
@Meric Ekinci So, you live in slums?
+Mr cool guy. there ancestors used to live in dirtiest slums of medieval London and other cities of medieval Europe.
He is nostalgic about that.
:) :) :) :)
Ankur Malhotra Lol, yeah.
Ankur Malhotra lolzzzz
You made amazing video on mumbai city....great work..

@attache Dude! you make the best travel videos. Straight to the point with crucial information. No BS

muhammad husnain they have american drone strikes in pakistan every week.. bomb blast in streets and schools.. shootings in cricket match ... is that what you call safe there?

muhammad husnain " deaf and a blind person" you mean the whole world?? i mean really you believe the shit they tell you in pakistan media??
muhammad husnain " loads and loads of channels newspapers social media backs my point up" you mean pakistani newspaper and pakistani media?

+Vir Batra That was the joke ;-)
Love your videos! I hardly ever comment on CZcams videos but yours are fantastic! I really like the map pinpointing exactly what area you are talking about. Super helpful.
+Coffee Lover wow, thank you! We really appreciate that.
So you crossed road in Mumbai during rush hour! Big task accomplished! Your Mumbai guide is so true. As an Indian I had been to this city so many times. It's always a busy city and rarely sleeps. I love Mumbai and it's a mini India in itself with people from all over the India and all cultures settled here.
2:00 Virat Kohli?
NOPE
Top Shelf wow!
from Shanghai to Mumbai it is like from Paradise to hell
shabu john John fuck you mate , I have been to china bejing shanghai and shenzen , if you think having better infrastructure is having heaven then your wrong , we might not have better infrastructure but we are way more better than you people and that is why world chose India over china , u guys live in a closed window where communist is everything , you guys don't even have rights to speak anything ,you guys can't even use Facebook google or CZcams all you have is fucker up your own version where no one give fuck to your social sites , all you eat is rice and pork and that too fucking disgusting smell, you hate forgeiners, check out the video about china where all forgeiner are brutally unhappy and I guess that's what he'll looks like ,in India we can speak and live the way we want to , we have fastest growing GDP , and yeah we can use all interent social sites :P and one more time fuck you mate , go learn English first and ask all ur Chinese fello to learn too, beacsue u guys sucks ... just because you have sky crapper that doesn't give you right to call other country hell ... put your noodles in your ass and get the fuck out
anand tiwari India is super power!
hahaha, I am so sorry u are richer than us in every country in the world? come on bitch dont be silly, use ur google to search Forbes list of billionaires in 2017, there are 486 chinese people in this list, accounting for 23.6% of the world, what about indian people? Hundreds of millions of poor people in india now, caste system still shapes nearly every facet of Indian life, no good environment, no good road, no good hardware.
dont make excuse, china is only developing in 30 years, india? lol, build more toilets first, and we really dont care how many satellitles u sent recently, no one cares about it in china, india, just india, that's it~
Franky S for ur kind information there r 120 billionaires from India which should have ideally been zero as greater no. of billionaires signifies greater income inequality (India ranked 4th in most no. of billionaires, after China, US and Germany)
also India has world's largest export of pharmaceuticals and IT outsource.
India is also ranked 24 in most visited nations (china-13).
similarly we r 3rd largest purchasing power(9.8 trillion$) jst after US(18 trillion) and China(23 trillion).
if u form ur opinion about India jst by seeing International media, then they also portrait Chinese as dog eating freaks and China as a sinking economy. now should we believe that 2
im Indonesian,n i love Mumbai than Shanghai
Best introduction of Mumbai...well done
Thank you for coming
We always welcome
So dirty
is that coming from a chinese, hahahahaha
half of ur china is sand and durt and building up the coastal area and showing it off wont make u look good boy
china is far more developed than india and all indian neighbouring countries. china is superpower, wtf is india lmfao these gypsies are funny.
Alexander look we all know chinese are communists right, that directly means that they have 100% control on the areas people can visit and the areas people cant, they arent fools that they would show the poverty of china and make them look down, they would instead fool the economists after buying tonnes of unused cement and utilise 30% of it to create of what is shanghai and Beijing today, the rest of the parts world wont even know what is build cause simply they dont have access to those places, China wants us too see its good parts but we cant implement it on india can we, we cant kill the people who are below poverty line like china did in the past to convert itself into an industrial economy from agrarian economy in mere 7 months, can we, search" great leap forward" largest killing or cleansing of population humanity has ever seen
Ashahar Parvez first of all china is not even communist, china is capitalist your confusing yourself. China is not 100 million populated country to control the people its a huge country its china not north korea, i've been to shanghai xi'an guangzhou. I've never saw poverty like india, every city feels like Europe Beijing is even more advanced than london. India is no where near china or ever will be. China is superpower and role model of india and africa. Name me one company which is famous out of india ?
One company ! dude TATA the largest private company for employment in London and have you heard the name Jaguar or Land Rover.Well i just told you about one company..There are many ..And talking about China .Well the people who cant decide their government should not talk decide about other countries.I accept we are not developed but we are developing. We were in British rule for more then 100 yrs ..And if you want to see our wealth ,please visit any British museum .We need time ,so just wait and watch .I dnt have any problem with you or blame you but just request you to have a knowledge before expressing
That's a great video....well done
Mumbai is a fast moving fair city. Visited 13 years ago. Great to refresh! Thanks.
You guys do some of the best travel videos out there. Thanks for the work guys. I would love to see your take on Tokyo at one point =)
