- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are building hovercrafts and battling them on water! The catch is that hover pads only work on water above 40kph. So if you slow down too much you sink! We are allowed 1 small cannon to help destroy our enemies. The last one on the surface wins!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

This video, this single video, is just, taken me away, and nostalgia, just, kicks in, like apex, and it reminds me of the old days of my life, and this channel, and It, just makes me feel, so, good. I remember all of the good days of somewhere, like (I think) 2014, and when the first Scrap-Man Scrap Mechanic videos came out, and It just made me more than happy, like plays a part in my life, even though, not that dramatic. It brought me somewhere I couldn't obtain anywhere else, and this video, brought me back there, and, I'm just at a loss of words. Thank you Scrap-Man, I've been a fan through some of your first videos, so thank you!

That was really fun. I didn't know hover pads were effected by speed. I guess that's why I kept having trouble building my own hovercraft. I really wish they did a better job explaining that sort of thing.
On a somewhat related note, have you ever looked at From the Depths? It's another building game, but it focuses on vehicle combat and has a really detailed weapon system. I bet you guys could put together some really crazy builds.

Wow, my comment actually made it into the video! Anyway, another fun idea for Trailmakers multiplayer is a long range artillery battle. Orrrr, the guys partner up, and have to work together. One partner would build a plane with a crate spawner on the bottom, and the partner would have to build a car that could catch the crate. Whichever team catches the most crates win!

1. You can make anything but NO PLANES/FLYING VEHICLES (cars, subs, boats, transformers, etc)
2. Theres no timer (You can add one if u think the vid is too long)
3. No complexity limit or high complexity limit
4. If you dont move in 10 sec, your out
5. 3 rounds and if you die u die
I dont mind if my idea is dumb/long , I just think that ur vid made me wanna play building games
Natural complexity limit is 700, and it has to stay that or smaller because of LAG

Hey scrapman you should have used your spinning hoverpad idea that would have allowed you to combat at slower speeds
His speed was good, and he never fell from lack of speed
He replied to another comment that suggested the same thing, and said that they agreed not to do that because part of the fun of the challenge was trying not to slow down.

I can’t believe that scrap man didn’t do the thing where is you spin the hover pads you can float on water while being still.
Challenge idea: 2v2 battle. Each person builds an aircraft carrier and a plane. Each round one person on each team uses their aircraft carrier and their teammate spawns and takes off from the aircraft carrier. Last team standing wins.
You should’ve used your spinning hover pad concept from a earlier video!!

You guys need to do a bunker battle with workshop pieces I.e. spike traps for cars and AA guns for planes. Teams of 2. P.s. 2nd time suggesting
Idea: Jetplane dogfighting. no fancy hoverstuff or helicopter mechanics or anything. conventional jetplane fighting. also, editing the footage all of you make together so we follow another player each round and you can put spotlight on awesome things happening instead of just hearing one of the others go "oh that was awesome" while we watch scrapman cruise along all peacefully.
