This was a handy video. I purchased an off-the-rack style mobility scooter online, generic model 3431, and this video is pretty applicable for general troubleshooting purposes. I'll have to see if you have a PM video, though I thoroughly clean the underside at least weekly to prevent buildup and hit it with a wee touch of TriFlow at a pivot point if needed. I'm probably doing more PM than many people do already, but as a tradesman's daughter I want to keep my scooter in top form for maximum life and minimum problems, especially since I bought online and have no local service available. It appears that common sense and cleanliness will keep a mobility scooter in good working form for at least 3 to 4 years.

I have a question my mum has a mk 2 cabin car but when it turns the lever sticks as u turn no matter direction is there a way to fix the issue I don’t know a lot about the machines but it’s like I said when u try reversing it it’s fine but when u park from the front it stick when ur turning the steering wheel if it can be fixed do u do repairs and servicing as I think it’s due for a service to be honest

Are all seat posts created equal, or are there a difference in manufacturer posts?

I need help ASAP. My Solax Transformer directional lever fell off and it doesn’t seem to want to securely go back on. Please help I am due to travel on Friday. Thanks
You would need to take apart the dash and replace what's called the throttle potentiometer. Most likely the liver broke and detached itself from the actual potentiometer. You could try and buy a potentiometer lever separately but I'm pretty sure they only sell it as a kit. Getting it to you by Friday might be a challenge. I'm sure MacGyver could figure it out... But I don't recommend anything other than doing it the right way.

my mom has a scout mobility scooter that isn't moving, it beeps 8 times with says its a Motor Voltage Fault, do you know what I can do to fix it?
That is a motor and the associated connection fault, I would recommend contacting the dealer you got the scooter from and/or consulting a tech

We do not carry that brand, so I'm not sure what might be wrong.
Took into a shop I thought it was the charger but I was wrong it's got water in the control unit and I can only charge it off the scooter till I get a controller
