Zira is the main antagonist of Simba's Pride. The Lion Guard writers did try to stay in line with the sequel when making the midquel series.

I support Kiara in this but now i can understand Simba side
2 of the biggest missed opportunities was them not showing any flashbacks of Scar and Zira’s relationship and how well they know each other.
And them not showing Simba and Zira fight each other, before Kiara and Kovu interrupt.

the animation wans't lacking to me because the animation was a 10 out of 10 amazing to me i also love the stroy and the music to me the lion king 2 was as good as the first the oringial the lion king 1 movie to me in my honest unpopular opinion i love the story and music was also 10 out of 10 for me as well i know the majority think it's not as good is the first oringial the lion king 1 movie i think both the lion king 1 and 2 are the best to me i think the lion 2 is underrated and my favorite the lion king movie is the lion king 1 in the half i love that it takes place from the very first movie this time it's an timon and pumbaa perspective i think that was smart genius idea to me i wish more movies did that i think the lion king 1 in the half was amazing to me as well i love everything about it i think it's the best fun amazing movie ever to me i have no problems with it at all i know the majority i also think that movie wasn't as good in the oringial 1994 animanted the lion king 1 that start it all but only some of the miniroty that love the lion king 2 and the lion king 1 in the half think is as good in the first movie too everyone is eneitled to there own difference opinions i respect that i love all 3 trilogy to be honest that's just me i just want to share my honest unpopular humble opinion
