Pinocchio is THE Fever Dream IRL!

Was it just me who didn't see Pinocchio as a kid? And for good reason too! I would have booked it after seeing the couchman and never watched it again. But as an adult, this movie mesmerised me. So watch along if you're into deep thrillers like I am.

I think the scene on pleasure island is a really good morality tale, act like a jackass and turn into a jackass, simple. It's interesting that in the remake of this film by Disney that they also include girls on the island too. I suppose since 1940 they realised that girls can make jackasses out of themselves too haha. The way the transformation is depicted as well is good to show how you would change if you acted that way as it appears to be gradual.

Pinocchio does have teeth, they only show up a couple times, first when he takes a bite out of a pie on Pleasure Island, and the two times he brays like a donkey.
