Let Lamine Be Yamal!
they said the same about ansu fati. where is that boy now
@@Vlad88822he’s still a very good player. Not his fault he has struggled with injuries and Barca decided to be impatient out of nowhere.
@@Vlad88822 that's not a argument.
You're just repeating cliches at this point.
@@FreddieGamingHDAt what point does a valid argument become a cliché?
I believe the point he is trying to make is that it is very dangerous for young players to be compared to Messi. There are multiple examples where young rising talents have been dubbed 'the next Messi' and gone on to fail to live up to the hype and potential.
For Yamal, the danger is even greater. He is playing for the same club and in the same position as the greatest player of all time. I really, really like Lamine Yamal, so I really hope he is able to persist through the weight of expectation and keep playing his spectacular football.
@@Vlad88822and did they not say similar things about Messi and Ronaldo?
As a barca fan i hope he just becomes half the player messi was
If he does he will already be one of the greats in history
Lamine is a fantastic player but I have massive reservations for a player to be playing so many games so young. It is unfair on the player to have to shoulder the weight of not just Spain but Barcelona as well. We've seen Barcelona youth players like Fati, Gabri and Pedri suffer massive injury setbacks due to them being played until their legs fell off. We've seen this with Owen, Tierney, when he was being played every game that by the time he gets to Arsenal, he has to take a year off because of the physical condition he was in. You can say the same with Rooney but lifestyle may have played a factor in why he became less and less effective in his later years. I hope Yamal gets to be able to live up to his frightening potential and that he isn't ruined by reckless tackles and/or poor medical care.
Don't have reservations on him if he's Destin to be there's nothing can stop him, no injury no sickness nothing whatsoever if it's his destiny!!
Gavi, Yamal, Cubarsi, Dani Rodriguez, Guille Fernandez
New Golden Generation of La Masia
Dani Olmos too
Yamal is him, i am not unto this type of comparaison , hope he keeps improving and unlock all his potentials
Alot of crazy statements made here
Just because he’s 16 doesn’t mean he doesn’t understand how famous he is, or understand the pressure (which is completely internal and subjective) lets not be so quick to make judgements about the guys awareness of what he’s doing… drowning in dogma just because he’s young guys
Yeah, when I heard that, I thought what?
Judging by his interviews, style of play and what teammates say, he seems really mature on the pitch, while still being a kid outside of the pitch
Do you all realize yamal is playing for fc Barcelona first team and starting also? Why you all are saying he's unaware of the crowd and the pressure ? How much more pressure can you get when playing for barcelona ? Lol
Especially with the aggressive Spanish/Capital media, they don't let you breathe
@@Mark3rz101 exactly. The boy is playing In the champions league quarter finals and yet they think he doenst know anything lol
yeah, spanish league is the worst when it comes to pressure.. thats why pep in england for 8 years and counting
I’ve not seen any barca fans worried about losing him
As a Moroccan im devastated that we didn't get him for our national team. Im still punching the wall right now.
It’s just the Athletic and their anti Barca narrative that gets a lot of clicks.
The Athletic already asking where Yamal is gonna leave to 😂
We said the same thing about Ansu Fati a few years ago and look what happened.
Just let the kid do his own thing stop trying to make him the next something.
Injuries happened to him.
Could’ve happened to anyone.
Let's see how he's doing at 25/26 years old before giving our verdict.
We decided Messi was the goat when he was 23. 25-26 is too late for a prodigy
@@velovis04 Messi and Ronaldo are special cases. I remember when Theo Walcott was 16, a lot of people hyped him up and it ruined him.
Anyone else bothered by the freaking kitchen and utensils background sounds and noises!🤯🤦😅
Do the dishes really need to be done right now?
Yep! 😂
IF he becomes a quarter of Messi he will become Homelanders level.
Lamine Yamal, a generational talent 🔥🔥
Reminder who was the so called next Messi before ending up in Brighton…sometimes dont need to hype these things when they aren’t even near that yet
Let's hope he is healthy and could have an impact like Messi. But we shouldn't compare them now. Messi is exceptional because he has sustained his game for decades.
Have a drink everytime Pol says "like"!
Not everyone's 1st language is English, he's pretty articulate but that doesn't mean he doesn't have to think a little bit harder to form what he wants to say in another language that's not his 1st tongue
Impossible bar to meet. Looking at records both Ronaldo and Messi met I can't see anyone being like them.....but he will have a great career.
Bro don’t spread lies, dembele was never on the bench because lamine was playing. Dembele left to psg shortly after lamine had his debut. He got a lot of playing time when raphinha and ferran torres were injured . Get your facts straight please.
I have one thing to say
🇪🇸Checkmate🇪🇸
The greatest thing about yamal is his pullouts😅😅 he definitely didn't get that from his father and the wildest thing is this father had him at the same age as yamal now
🐐🔜🐐
Yamal is a cross between Henry and Neymar. Needs work on his right foot and be more clinical in front of goal. But what a phenomenal talent. If Spain win the euros the sting gets taken out of the Mbappe transfer.
let the boy cook. no messi comparison however hard it can be.... just let him cook.
The idea of Barcelona selling Yamal is nonsense. If Barcelona theoretically had 200M to sign anyone in the transfer market it would be Yamal. We have him and he is staying.
messi and yamal also a man of the match in the last game , argentina vs canada at semi copa and yamal at semi vs france. what a fate! 😂
"The next Messi" is just a meme at this point. It has been prophesied so much it's meaningless.
Clickbaiticus Maximus
They said the same about Maradona and here we’re…
Keep seeing this type of narrative being pushed by various media. The new Messi, the new Ronaldo, new Maradona, new Maldini etc.
Each top class player is unique as it's difficult to replicate in current time the exact circumstances with the exact player qualities that led the previous players to greatness.
Also, there's the risk of burnout and injuries with the increased workload in modern football.
We've seen this previously with very talented players across the globe.
Jsck Wilshere, Marco Veratti, Wayne Rooney, Mario Gotze from the past and now Pedri and Gavi.
We hope the young talent like Yamal, Musiala, Bellingham, Mainoo, Wirtz , Xavi Simons, Williams etc can stay relatively healthy and have long careers.
To stay on point, let's hope Yamal becomes Yamal the 1st.
YAMAL will make a big impact for the Spanish to win.FEARLESS.
Is water wet?
why the hype so sudden
Spanish dude tweaking hard.
Give him the no10
No one is coming close to Messi so no point in putting him in the same sentence
The biggest protection for Yamal is NOT comparing him to anyone.
For the record, Corrigan is a fake news writer and Pol doesn't know much about Barcelona. So no need to take seriously their words
Not. Even. Close. Messi was already a freaky goal machine at the same age.
No he wasn't
He wasn't.
@@GGM28 check the stats. He'd scored nearly 100 goals in 3 and a half years by his breakthrough season.
He wasn’t even in the first team at yamals age. What a strange and stupid comment.
How is that possible when Yamal is the youngest debut player in a major club and the youngest player/goal scorer on a major tournament in history?
I think he looks like a Neymar more than Messi
Today's media always hype youngsters on one good tournament performance
Have you watched any Barca games??? Xavi benched Raphinha to play Yamal
@@tsukishima123 bro I am a real madrid and manchester united fan so that's why I never watch matches of Barcelona and manchester city
@@suryaprataptyagi4535 Then haven't you watched
what Yamal did vs Real Madrid at Bernabeu. He was MOM
@@tsukishima123 bro misjudge you my comment what I said that today's media hype youngsters on basic of one good tournament 1,2 good season never decide that you are great player or better than Messi and bro he MOM but real madrid win the match that's matter most not MOM
@suryaprataptyagi4535 I agree with regards to hype but this lad is youngest person to play at the Euros, to assist a goal at the Euros and to score a goal at the Euros. This is unchartered territory
Relax. He needs to score 40 goals per season, consistently for at least 5 years, before he can even start to be considered an heir.
Plus dominate every game he plays in rather than just score goals.
Freddy Adu mk 2
Anulo mufa
lamin yamal messi part 2
Tbh yamal has done more for spain than messi
Check his parents background and you'll understand
Yamal for president lol
Ngl, as a madridista.... he is overrated ... Def not salty, def not jealous .... yeahhh
No.
Stop hyping him up! He has a long way to go goofs
Miley will be No1 in 4 years time…..
Who?
Yamal the best player in the team? Get real. Rodri obviously is.
And by a distance.if rodri is not in this team am sure Spain is not here
@@biniyammulugeta-uf1svyamal has created the most chances in the whole euros with 17 and the most big chances which are 10.
In terms of impact in the Spanish team he is the leader of the attack just like how rodri is the leader of the midfield so it's hard to say who is more important
C'mon, this title is unfair. Just enjoy the player
Hype this level isn't good for a player, especially a 16/17 year old.
He’s better than Ronaldo and Messi at age 16. His passing is unreal. Makes very mature decisions when has the ball, with immense skill.
dont think he's as cerebral or as athletic as Messi though lol
@@eesafredericks2122 At age 16, he’s better than Messi was at the SAME age. That’s the point I’m making.
Better than Ronaldo but definitely not better than Messi. Forget the stats. Messi was a freak of nature.
@@zaidzitouni2752 I saw Messi play at 18. This kid is better at 16 than Messi was at 18. Whether he continues to improve, or not, we shall see. He may never attain the sustained brilliance of Messi. But for now, 16 year old for 16 year old, this kid is better than Messi was, in his all-round game.
@@eesafredericks2122 Not “as cerebral or as athletic as Messi”, you say. At age 16? Where’s the data and the evidence you are using to compare Messi as a 16 year old and this kid at 16? You have none. In fact this kid’s performances at Barcelona and at international level suggests that he is both more “cerebral and athletic” at age 16 than Messi ever was.
he's good but he's not messi.
Messi is the best player of world and most time of his career he top scorer or top assist provide of tournament so you can not compare him with anyone totally disrespect his legacy
Simple answer- NO
can we stop with this nonsense
The Spanish guy has the worst accent and says " like " 10 times a sentence.
What a bunch of nonsense...Lamine is 16 y/o, he's not going anywhere
So those are the two guys responsible for all those atrocious Barca propaganda from the athletic
Mainoo is a bigger talent than Yamal, just saying 👍
😂😂😂😂😂😂 drugs are bad for you
