Stegsaur Stock heads on these are fine unless you are doing a mean cam, which then needs a converter or FI. Even most FI just stays stock heads. Cam on the other hand you can do and keep stock converter to pick up some power. Also these gen 4 ls motors in the trucks have really good intakes too.

I have always bought new though so I don't get a used truck that someone was whipping shitties and jumping ditches with. 2019 3.5 L eco-boost v6 versus 2019 V8 Silverado motor. the 3.5L eco-boost makes 375 hp and 470 pound feet of torque. The high output 3.5L makes 75 more horsepower and 40 more pound feet of torque. The 5.3 V-8 in the Silverado makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound feet of torque. I don’t know about you but i’m picking an ecoboost ALL day.

Chevy Suburbans are the best light truck/suv ever built. Our '04 1500 hauled a 9,000 pound trailer up and down loging roads in Oregon and Idaho. It's pulled several pichups - including my beloved Dodge out of the ditch without any issue at all. It's been used for hauling trailers, firewood, water, household goods, etc. It does great off road in mud, brush and snow. The main problem with them is that no one maintains them, so most 01-06 suburbans are trashed and the new ones are ugly.
Edit: Also, if you pull away all the molded plastic, it's not as scary to work on as it looks. It's just a truck.

    My personal truck is a 1997 Chevy extended cab Z71 4wd, my previous work truck was a 2015 Silverado C1500 2wd & my work truck is a 2018 Ford 4dr 2wd Ecoboost.
Let me tell ya folks, the F-1Fiddy is just a better truck over the Chevy in terms of performance, handling on road & off and fit & finsh. 💯
My Chevy is super easy to work on, the parts are dirt cheap & abundant, there's a huge aftermarket, powerful enough 5.7l Vortec V8, all power opts and it has modern tech: OBDII/ABS/EFI/AirBags/ETC (I turn my own wrenches). So unless God forbid something terrible happens, I'm never getting rid of Lil'Bertha! Plus I still find her dead sexy!
If I were to buy a brand new truck or almost new, it would hands down be a 5.0 Coyote V8 F-1Fiddy! The 3.5l Ecoboost motors are sick AF. With a chip, intake & exhaust, their a 550hp-600hp DD that lays waste to everything but I'm a working man that is practical and if I want to burn rubber or feel like driving fast, I'll jump in my 1994 Mustang GT.

When did the ford isn't manly stereotypes start happening? What caused it? I know quite a bit about all trucks, but can't figure out why ram and Chevy fans call Fords gay and shit. Also why do ram fans think they're so manly? Is it because they think working on your truck constantly makes you manly? The 7.3 IDI trucks from ford are easily the most durable and low maintenance trucks I've ever seen. Not to mention powerful.

Why does he keep talking about Ford having V6 motors? So does Chevy, and they have for a while. Also Chevy is the only one to put a 4-cylinder in a half ton truck; I don't hear him complaining about that. Also, Ford still makes F-150's with the shift up by the steering wheel, not to mention Super Duties. And Chevy puts the shift between the seats as well, so he's not proving any points and he obviously has no actual reason to like Chevy's better.
