It's a pity they don't come with a OBD so it would be easy to diagnose the faults. Trying to use a multimeter on the small wires ain't easy But this controller seems to be the weak point thanks for the video
Ace video had same issue same seller a couple of years ago now they wanted me to send motor back and i said just send me a controller then they agreed problem sorted and run great since. I use the 850c screen its percect. Only other problem i had is code 8h it was hall sensors. A guy with a website called.... fix my device re soldered sensors onto it all in for £19 with return post. Great motors i have the 750w and its had a hammering and still going strong. Just an annual regrease.
Error 12 is related to controller current sensor fault. The most likely problem is water ingress in the controller. You can remove the controller and inspect for signs of moisture, if moisture is found inside then leave to dry for a few days in a bag of rice or some place warm and dry. If still not working a new controller would probably be the easiest solution, unless you are handy with a soldering iron and know your way around a circuit board.
