Nice guide, just what i needed since i was not sure how does the matching bonuses works!
Just found out if you do match the bonus is literally double! Lets say a core give you 5% attack and you match it to an attack slot you would get 10% attack! Matching is totally worth plan ahead! Glad I could help!

@@Idodmg Just one minor mistake I've noticed: reaching the number at the end of each creature core actually maxes it out at level 3, rather than getting you to level 2. If you look at the bar when you have a creature core at level 1, there should be a small pip marking before the end of the bar. This marking is what denotes level 2. Level 3 is always the end of the bar. Finding additional creature cores of the same type after you've maxed it out gets you extra souls, meaning that even after you've maxed out a particular core, it's never worthless to pick up more.
You probably already knew that, but I thought I should mention it, since this video is about teaching about how the system works. Thanks for the awesome video!

Hey I have a glitch, when I open this menu it gives me tutorial but when tutorial ends I get message to press or something like that is lock me in the creature core menu and I have to restart the game. Any help is welcome.

These days the only set of instructions you get sometimes or just with the control buttons do so it's really awesome to have somebody expand on all that. I just want to enjoy myself I don't feel like reading the Encyclopedia of Doom

At 1:45 you say you need 23 more creature cores to upgrade to level 2. This is actually incorrect as the little dot halfway through the progress bar is lvl 2 and getting all 23 remaining creature cores would give you lvl 3. I was confused about this myself. Whatever the x/xx number is to get it to lvl 3. The progress bar doesn't reset so if you want to know what it takes to get to lvl 2 just look for the detent (mark) within the progress bar that is usually about halfway through the progress bar. I know this is an old video and all so this is for the person in the comments not necessarily the author of the video who has probably moved on to other games.
