When you really think about the timelines, Future Trunks is the actual protagonist of the show. And I swear he had some of the most massive character developments/traumatic backstories.

Trunks went through so much in his life and his timeline is literally gone to so think of everyone realizing it’s the end for them..and now he has to go into a completely new one? Trunks has had it worse than any other character in the show and I stand by that
What's weird to think about is that the end of dbs is around 3 years before the dbz epilogue making goten and trunks 14 and 15 post broly movie
