I think the reason Goten and Trunks unlocked SSJ so easily compared to the Goku, Vegeta and Gohan, is because they were both born AFTER their fathers unlocked SSJ, so in their DNA, some SSJ gene must've passed on when they were both conceived. I don't think they ever explained this in the show but this is the only way it happening makes sense to me
i think vegeta got super saiyan after future trunks killed mecha frieza not sure if its the same for the manga though

You're just about right. Toriyama said there's something called S-Cells. And Goten and Trunks were born with particularly more S-Cells than their predecessors. That's the official explanation. So you basically guess correctly 😅

You can honestly logically claim that as Trunk and Goten multiplied each others powers exponentially. Like two saiyans getting constant mini zenkai boosts back and forth on a daily basis. They probably go pretty hard.
I always equated Goten & Trunks being able to access Super Saiyan so early due to them being conceived after Goku & Vegeta both respectively mutated/evolved to the level of a Super Saiyan so it reflected stronger in their DNA.
I think it shows in how they were born without tails unlike Gohan since they were born at a level where the tail wasn’t necessary for their evolution.
Idk if there’s an official explanation but that’s what works for me lol
There is official information on why and how Goten and Trunks could become Super Saiyan at such a young age and it's completely and utterly terrible.
I gotta assume their tails were cut shortly after they were born.

goku is always there for gohan goten and pan while being a friendly neighbour hood farmer he is also there for gohan like when he was born and the entire cell arc and even for his birthdays unlike naruto who doesnt even look over his family and here super goku from the beginning of dbs episode 1 to half of series was about goku spending time with goten n the others I like how goku in super doesnt force goten n gohan to fight multi-multiversal genocidal ppl or villains n lets them enjoy their life

You gotta realize that Jump wanted more DB. The series was supposed to end after Frieza and then again after cell when Gohan suppose to take over the show after Goku death! Jump didn’t want that hence Future Trunks Arc

What separates trunks and Goten from the others is that they have active moms that either encourage or don't discourage their training. they are actually the only two saiyans we see raised by their mothers. This could also explain why the Universe 6 saiyans transformed easily as well

I have a theory on why Goten can become a saiyan at much younger age I think it might Goten was conceived when goku was super saiying which is the reason why goten is very powerful and might have more potential than trunks, since trunks trains with vegeta inside a gravity chamber while goten trains in martial arts with chi chi in the wilderness, when goku and trunks fought they were nearly evenly match so goten has more potential than trunks
The reason he got super Saiyan easily is because according to the writer a Saiyan becomes super Saiyan because of s cells and the nicer you are the more s cells you have that's why Goku became super Saiyan before vegeta and since goten is part human it makes him nicer and loaded with s cells
