@@professorchaos5058 yes. All these tickets are tracked. They are scanned in from the back office before they are even put out to sell. And CA Lottery can track every book as well. Just take note of the time of the robbery, check how many tickets were sold that shift, then you know every ticket after that was stolen. Pretty simple procedure once you've been robbed enough times lol 😭. This state is such a ish show.

Yes. In my store we don't keep anything larger than 10s in the register. Any 20 and above goes directly in the safe before we even close out the transaction.

LAPD, for example, has lost $150 million dollars a year from their annual budget for the last 6 years.
The funds were allocated to fund more local community social workers offices.
That and (AND) 1,000 police officer positions. The strength of the LAPD went down from 10,000 to 9,000. Currently, the LAPD has about 8,500 sworn police officers.
So please don't tell me police were not defunded.
