The reason she did this as somebody who is high level BPD and I would say socio/psychopathic, is that his Mum dying would take the attention away from her. She cannot be secondary in his attention and she will stop at nothing to get it. She exhausted her opportunities for staying with him, so then she moved onto revenge. The woman scorned is stamping her feet in different ways and she is ensuring she takes the limelight once again.
She filed for divorce when she had no attention on herself. She has BPD. The second she knew she wouldn't have his full attention for a bit and things weren't perfect, she leapt.
@@nellyb2434 Exactly. I have met this type. The death of a maternal figure and my friend's dealing with those necessary affairs was seen as an "abandonment" by his partner. No sympathy or even acknowledgement for his loss. Her response (at best) could be described as total confusion as to why she was suddenly not the center of attention.

As a survivor I can tell you straight up, she is not showing any fear, intimidation, PTSD, or true feelings of someone who has been abused by the man she supposedly loved.
Johnny, however IS showing signs of PTSD.

No - her whole demeanor is not that of an abused women. An abused woman would be much more timid - ALL the time. If a woman is truly fearful of saying and/or doing something to set her husband off, she's not going to call him a baby (one of the taped audio phone conversations) and etc.
Another example: on that show where Johnny & her dad had her Mustang fixed up, her first reaction is to hit them after they bring car out - supposed to be joking but its kunda hard.. Another example: even the marriage counselor says AH like a jackhammer when she talks - talks over Johnny all the time.
All are examples of more aggressive behavior, not timid. If she was afraid of making him angry, she'd never try to talk over him, etc.
She also tries to play up what abusers are supposed to do:
1. They alienate the victim from family & friends - she tries to say Johnny not letting her see people. THE TRUTH - her sister and friends lived in Johnny's neighboring penthouses for free. They used Johnny - free rent, credit cards to use, a car...
2. They won't let their wife/girlfriend wear sexy clothing - go look at what AH wore for red carpet events. Also - look at pictures of past girlfriends and wife and what they wore. There's even a pic of Johnny and Kate Moss where he's draped over Kate's naked body in photo shoot.
There's more, but you get the drift. She's faking being a victim and everyone knows it. Johnny is innocent and certainly not an abuser.

If you’ve ever been on court( on stand) your prep by lawyer tells you to think about the question before you answer.. this in fact gives you a moment to gather your thoughts before answering. If it’s a yes& no answer,say so-they’ll ask for your definition of that otherwise you can’t explain!
There's a really good video on You Tube of a recent interview with Camille about their trial strategies. She describes Johnny as a very good client, thoughtful and intelligent. Yes, he does have a bit of a stutter, Camille says, that is exacerbated with emotional subjects. What we saw at trial is really Johnny.
Pretty sure he said at some point that he was dyslexic as well & that's probably another reason for the speech delay 🤔
Amber stares at Johny like any abuser staring at their victim. Trying to intimidate him, trying to scare him, make him feel uncomfortable and so on. It's disgusting!

Johnny's response to that last question has me literally in tears.
No-one deserves what he's been put through (and is still being put through) and the fact that he's been put in a position where he has to bear his soul in front of millions of people is something so unimaginably horrible. He may have been the one to insist on letting the public into the courtroom but, make no mistake, backing him into that corner - *forcing* him and the people who love him to bleed out in front of the world - that's on Amber and, in my opinion, is one of her most brutal acts of cruelty.
The best way for revenge against Amber is to not watch any movie she is in.

Of course he has trouble to articulate himself. He's being stared down by his abuser. Most victims of DV exhibit similar behaviour. It's a very intimidating situation to overcome. You're being asked a question, getting interjected, you still feel like walking on eggshells only due to the presence of the person who did that to you. It's a terrifying feeling to speak under such circumstances in court. Seeing him being exceedingly uncomfortable while she puts on a smirk pretty much tells it all. She's wholly aware of her misconduct, yet she believes it to be justified.

As someone who has been studying and involved in court cases for many years, if he loses this case, no one in this country would ever be able to redeem themselves in court in a legitimate defamation case. It's that bad, yes.

Now we know how the jury felt. If you have ever hear the DUI guy ( an attorney who was there daily ) explain that once she started testifying , around the 3rd day, a few turned their chairs so they didn’t have to look at her. You know the saying, truthful people tell…liars sell. What victim ever in the history of DV cases ever turned to the jury like that or stared their “ abuser down” it’s the complete opposite. I don’t say this often but it really is evil.

I was in a absusive relationship for over 8 years. And I know, every victim acts and heals different. I also have met a lot of other victims (male and female) in my supportgroups and let me tell you - not one of them or I myself, no matter how much you recoverd and think you overcame that abusive, manipulating piece of shit - you never can just sit there and smile at them. It would trigger way to much emotions to even see and hear that person telling the "false" happening of that event. This woman is full of shit and it hurts so bad, bc it damages all the victims out there - there story, there suffering, there experience...all can now be reduced down to "it could be a lie like amber heard". I am still ‘scared’ or at least stressed and uncomfortable with a fight or flight feeling around my former abuser. just being in the same room as them. even if it is many years ago i was verbally and physically assaulted. if i was to be sitting in court with them you would not see me smiling or smirking. i would avoid looking at them as much as possible. her glaring him down is reminiscent of my own abuser. me avoiding their eyes and turning away and they being relentlessly trying to look into my eyes to be intimidating

Same. My sister and I fought a lot back when we were kids/teenagers and I‘m ashamed that I had hit her sometimes and I apologized to her for that when we were older. I would not smile about it or find it funny. I am sorry that we had such a bad relationship back in the days of our childhood and I am glad that our relationship is so much better now.

I lived for years hiding my abuse. I came out to my family after 40+ years and all I got was silence. Carying things like abuse AND false accusations weighs you down like no other thing can.
JD has suffered both by his mom, dad, and Amber. He's even abused himself with drugs and alcohol. Unfortunately, he has been abused by society because of all the things AH has done and said.
No one is perfect. He's 100% right about that. Nevertheless, we all deserve to have peace in this life.

Hi. My mom died a few weeks ago and the rest of my family (brothers and all their family members) turned on me acusing me of lying because my mom never confirmed my story when I exposed it two years ago. Why would she admit that she knew her husband was doing the things to me that he was? Because she did. I tried to have a conversation with her about it years ago and all she had to say was "you turned out ok". Let me assure you that I'm hardly ok.
So essentially I lost over 20 members of my family on the same day. I didnt even get to go to the funeral of one. It's just me and my husband who is a kind man. I've lost almost all my hair from the stress of it all and I have had some marathon crying sessions but I'm starting to be able to sleep a little at night again and I think I'll be OK with time. I don't have to carry my secret anymore and I don't have to stay within that set of guidelines that was taught to me in order to protect the family.
Basicaly, I have to start my life over. Figure out who I really am because for my whole life I've always been and done what was expected of me. I'm working on my peace.

For the people being insensitive to Johnny about his stuttering or if he's drunk, he's always spoken like this. You can watch any interview with him and he speaks slow and you can see he thinks a lot about what he says. I guarantee the drug use didn't help either, it's similar to Ozzy Osbourne's condition (though Ozzy's is obviously worse). Not to mention Johnny by his own admission (and rather ironically given his career) has bad social anxiety so being up in front of a courtroom with everyones eyes focused on him is probably nerve-wracking. I know my reply is late but, as I'm watching this trial now and listening to her stories, I realize that most of the time all you need to do is reverse the aggressor to find out what actually happened. In other words, when she describes Johnny throwing bottles at her, it was her throwing bottles at him. When she says he hit her or blocked her way out of a room, it was her doing those things to him. Just assume that whatever she is saying that he did is a description of what she did to him. Then she made up the sa stories out of pure cloth or from what she read about or heard about from someone else.
When he was asked how he was feeling during the trial when all those horrible things that she accused him of & he explained how it hurt him & how he would never do those sick things she said he did was very moving. Hell I was about to have tears. It was so sad hearing him express how he has felt & how it was a burden he has been carrying for yrs knowing what was being said in the media & he wasn't able to defend himself. 🥺💔

And all because she was angry that she couldn't use our income as her own whenever she was between husbands. She has been married 6 or 7 times possibly more in the 15.5 years of our marriage. She has physically abused our children and pets. Mentally abused them, and emotionally. She had them convinced their father was going to divorce me and move her in full time while I was recovering from historectomy. I'm now afraid to have people in my home. I don't feel comfortable. I panic when anyone asks questions trying to figure out if that information could ever be twisted somehow later to hurt my kids. I am anxious. My heart skips beats. I don't eat in front of people. Just a few examples. It's been nearly 5 years and it hasn't gotten better. Small things bring it back to that time period I start again. I don't even know how to try to get back to who I was before.

When I left my abuser in August 2016, I slipped up and told him my plan, which included getting a restraining order. So, the abuser went to get one, too. His first attempt failed, but before he knew it failed he tried to get me back by calling me FROM HIS WORK and pleading for me "talk it out" ... and then asked me to call him back at his work!! He was trying to set me up to get me arrrested and in front of his coworkers, so he looks like the victim. He was mad that I left him. He wanted revenge. (Plus he was recently arrested for domestic violence. I regret not pressing charges.) So, to get revenge and control, he twisted the story of abuse onto me.
Well, after he learned that the restraining order failed, he went back and made up ridiculous lies about me to get a restraining order passed. That was so hurtful.
When I filed a restraining order against him, it passed the first time. If you read mine, I have specific details of events and dates versus lies with no details such as "I'm afraid to sleep because she might kill me." Lies!
I still have both copies of restraining orders. I still can't believe that the judge let it pass, especially after seeing two attempts with two totally different lies/stories by the abuser.
