He never "reaches for the stars" He does the best with what he has and recognizes that the human experience is more than just a single life but, comprised of multiple perspectives. Everything Trevor says make you think and that is rare. Dude, please continue being awesome!!!

I just read his autobiography Born a Crime. It was fascinating and made me cry. I look at this man in a whole new light. Love him.

I don’t know how Trevor lasted so long. I guess it must be a woke generational thing even though I’m not that older than the woke generation. The ratings tanked after the golden period of Stewart and Colbert
Heck, I didn’t even find Stewart that funny once I started watching Colbert. No one in late night could hold a torch to him.
It is sad that he had to sell his soul to host the Late Show but I guess that he’ll do whatever is best for him financially and higher status.

My dad took me to see Brandi Carlile Live from Lauren Canyon in IMAX. I liked her music before. Seeing her live (even on a bigscreen) gives you a whole different level of appreciation for how crazy talented that woman is.
As a songwriter, and passionate lover of music, here's a thought. You may never hear your favorite song in this lifetime. It is literally impossible to listen to everything ever written. There's something exhilarating and mysterious and saddening and beautiful about that to me. It's an endless discovery.

I'm consistently disappointed by GRAMMY's awardee choices year after year, but... I still think it's better than the other EGOT ceremonies.
I just want them to give hip hop and rap their due for the biggest awards of the year. Taylor Swift and Adele are fantastic musicians who I love to listen to, but I really don't think their music is the best of the years that they compete in.
Emmys are always the best one.

My son was never exposed to hip-hop, much less rap music growing up because, like Trevor's mom, I wanted my son to grow up being a respectful and kind human being. It still distresses me that such "music" dehumanizes and belittles women, yet, people keep making and consuming said trash.

Well, there's an aspect to it anyways. One I'd have to discuss and go deeper into. But, yeah, being awarded is nice. Really nice, for some more than others. But there are some things [so many] that I would leave out as factors of winning a Grammy, putting on a show and what it comes to mean to people! So many things I don't like, and that I know aren't as worthy as people make it out to be.
It's just a mindset. One that the least of us have.
