Happy holidays everyone. This is a technique I've picked up quite recently and was eager to share. I love you all so much! #codingmotivation #coding Music massobeats - glisten: • massobeats - glisten (...
When I was a junior and totally lost all of the time, I would pretend that I was a streamer and that chat would be cracking up when my code wouldn't compile for the millionth time. It replaced the thoughts of "I'm going to get fired I'm going to get fired" and helped a lot
a thing I also discovered is that "playing" with your code or laughing along side or seeing it as a game rather than stressfull really helped me relieve stress.
I take a 5 minute breather, go outside, look at the sky, forget about pixels on a screen, realize the natural world and its inhabitants are so beautiful
Love your content, you absolute W sigma ohyo rizzking! Whenever I start feeling hopeless about myself you just so happen to post a new vid which somehow always relates to whatever I'm currently struggling with. Truly a coding therapist!
Yup, exactly how i felt last night trying to figure out why every time i click a jump link on my portfolio site, the info displayed keeps snapping to the top of the screen and not center. I researched for hours before giving up, played some monster hunter then went back to it. Still havent figured it out yet but i felt better snd energized to figure it out 😅
Another thing, it's okay to take a break even when coding a bigger feature as you'll get back with fresh eyes and then notice that you're inherently programming a bug rather than actual code lol
hi big box, i been tasked a rather simple full stack saas app on my first job and i couldnt' get it to be done even after 4 months...im feeling depressed and planning on resigning out of incompetence.
Picture the following scene in your head: A girl and a boy are standing next to each other in the subway. He falls and bumps in to her; she is a Karen so she slaps him in the face (Unfair)! Now she trips and bumps into him, just imagine that sweet revenge 😌
Hey bros and gals I really need help. I'm in my 2nd year of CS I have exams starting next week but I'm struggling. I really want to become a software engineer but I'm finding it difficult to study for my exams since I can easily get 90% in all my exams using chatGPT ( i've done it so many times already :( ) and I know its bad for me in the long term but my willpower isnt strong enough to sit down and study. Am i just not cut out for this field?
Bruh, are you seriously telling us you won't become a software engineer because you suck at university? Man, computer science schools don't teach you programming or software engineering. They teach a lot of useless stuff with stupid exams and tests that involves writing code in paper (which is a very outdated bad practice). They just want to destroy your mental health with depression and anxiety. If you wanna learn software engineering, internet is your best friend. If I could, I would buy courses on Coursera or something like that and learn things that I'm actually interested in like deep learning or graphics engineering but I just can't because of my mom who still thinks we're living in 90s. But I'm still using CZcams and Google to learn programming instead of useless stuff that CS universities teach and I've learnt many concepts easily in just a few days that my university takes like 2 weeks or more to teach. Doing that made studying in the stupid universities a lot easier for me.
i know its a vid but damn, nothing funny ab the code show at 0:13. if it were a good interpreted language you would get a a runtime error (since its interpreted) since the function's signature (setSize()) was defined to take in no arguments lmao. even c++ would throw a compile error in this case im pretty sure. while assignment expressions (ie width=5) dont generally evaluate to a value, it should still throw an error coz whoever wrote the code was calling setSize with 2 arguments at first when it was explicitly declared to take in 0 arguments. whats more is that the actual assignment of the var width takes place below the function definition, so how the hell does it know that width is == 5? trying to understand that janky behavior is confusing af.
Big box is my coding therapist
Haha
I read that "theRapist" cause your comment has exactly 69 likes

Basically gaslight yourself to be happy 💀
First I laugh at my code…. Then reality kicks in….. and I cry at my code. Works like a charm

Thanks brother

Thanks for caring!
Happy coding
I've been laughing for 8 hours now. Please help.
Awesome concept. Only you need to laugh more every time because of the hedonistic adaption
We need more programming related memes
❤
no way, i'm doing javascript exercise and getting stuck, and this vid pop-up
wowwwwwwwwww
hi big box, i been tasked a rather simple full stack saas app on my first job and i couldnt' get it to be done even after 4 months...im feeling depressed and planning on resigning out of incompetence.
I don't laugh at my code. I only put it through saw-like puzzles to make it prove that it's good enough to stay in my codebase.
box pls bring a job/internship guide
Picture the following scene in your head: A girl and a boy are standing next to each other in the subway. He falls and bumps in to her; she is a Karen so she slaps him in the face (Unfair)! Now she trips and bumps into him, just imagine that sweet revenge 😌
Bro bring a video on dsa and getting a interview at faangm
And also bro one more on using ai in industry workflow

Bro literally used pic of Lord Chamakh and Lord Bendtner. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
Dude, I think we all need to laugh more. Too much focus on being the top 1%, making the most money, etc. let’s have more fun.
