4:06, missed a chance to put Prime's face somewhere small in there. :P
Good video, as usual.
It's called skill issue
Bro woke up and chose violence
someone had to say it.
@@melon. 🤣
medium: Where you can find the official docs paraphrased by the junior devs 😂
I felt that😅😂😂
behind a paywall!
When the docs are good but very overwhelming or too abstract, a good medium article showcasing the thoughts behind the docs is a really good resource.
@@amineabdz Very very very rare, like less than 0.5% rare
I found a really good article about a very specific cicd pipeline problem I had, but mostly true
waiting for primeagen's 1 hour reaction of this
XD
this is not worthy of primeagen's time... lots of slippery slops in this video
Ex-fang advice

..."used to work at netflix"...
Best way to learn programming:
1. Step outside
2. Take a deep breath
3. Travel to a remote location
4. Start a coconut farm
5. Never look back
3:35 "You can find video evidence why layoffs were necessary" :|
There's an unhealthy amount of India & Pakistan mentioned in this video
We all know why
Why?
@@Nanoooyhelou, yor comjuter has a vairoos
guy's obviously desi
Bcz we have an accent based on our native dialects
I have a feeling he is Indian / Pakistani 🤣
Or banga
He's definitely Indian, based on previous videos 😂
@@hsthast7183the way he said elachi is very bengali
@@vallukman or Odia who knows? Also Bengalis can be Indian too. Let's not speculate too much. But I repeat based on his previous vids he seems Indian to me.
@@vallukman The accent for elachi, Atif Aslam - yeah definitely bengali.... take my bets
Tech ticktock, where you can find video evidence why layoffs were necessary 🤣
It hit hard, love it.
> marked safe from BigBox video
Haha theo! I bet you'll be there in the next vid
Are you going to reupload this video and call it a "reaction"?
@@dakata2416 nah, he would like that too much
@@t3dotgg oh I'm sure he would
@@t3dotgg do it, public perms right here ;)
Dude has entered his villain arc with this one 🤣😈
Best way to learn programming: read docs ✅
Learn by doing. 😉🌞
@@AdamFiregate yup
@@AdamFiregate mr. nasty time
No... best way is to follow along a video tutorial of indian dude making twitter clone
Although I agree, sadly not all docs are made equal
absolutely violated 80% of "programmers" with 20% the effort
I hate going on Reddit now because of all the idiots with their "OMG CS is dead" "Is it worth learning to code" If you have to ask that on Reddit then you obviously don't have enough soft skills to make it in software even during the boom
No joke, im an aspiring dev but i cannot believe how little time investment other aspiring devs think is required to learn a skill that pays so much. Im almost 2 years in and im making an app with a partner Ive beeb pair programming with for 4 months and recently got 2 seniors developers on board to help us build and mentor us through all the most difficult tasks without hand holding us. And every other person of our level trying to get a job that’s talked to us about what we’re doing has immediately been dismissive and says its way too much
Then you go to a subsequent post and find out what kind of devs are on there... I saw a post asking what kinds of projects people had built, and the most upvoted comment, was none. These are not FAANG level engineers; they're your classic reddit users who want to coast, hate consumerism and people who, you know, like money and working. I mean, you post anything about FAANG and you'll get a mix of people saying "I could've gone to FAANG, but I felt that I wanted to work in this role" Which is the equivalent of "I could've gone pro if I didn't hurt my shoulder back in junior high". Then, there's the others who are clearly jealous, want those kinds of jobs, and just, don't put in any work to actually attain them.
@@moomie1634 i couldn’t have more eloquently described these whiners than you have just now. And not only that, they will actively encourage you to quit. I made a post about me and my buddy looking for good places to do outreach for more collaborators that want to learn. And you know what the overwhelming response was? Insults about how stupid we are for trying something so out of reach, telling us we were wasting out time and then the cherry on top was telling us we were clearly awful and shitting on our skills while we made absolutely no comment on what we’ve actually built or are capable of
@@trentirvin2008 Honestly, why care about what a redditor says. If you're having fun doing it, and you're really developing some skills creating it, then keep going. People call some of my hobbies dumb, but I enjoy them. Same thing with programming projects. As for the first statement about looking for people to collaborate, go to colleges. There will always be students looking to learn a bit more and get a bit better at their skills, and you've got a ton of people in a small area
@@moomie1634 can’t disagree, its dumb to waste my time giving any thought to it. I think i just hate the environment it creates online when you’re trying to find people that want to learn. I graduated from college with a biology degree in 2022 but decided i wanted to program instead of a phd program, so online learning has been my outlet. Probably why it irks me so much but i think im gonna take your advice on looking for collaborators at colleges
programming communities: "God have mercy"
😂
1:55 I just feel attacked when he said with Udemy skills 💀
I'm not even a programmer and even I felt attacked 🤣
The amount of South Asian references in this video!! lol
Bro decided to go scorched earth on everyone 😂😂
I knew this would be a fire video 🔥
I love it
No "love babbar" was harmed during this video
aman and shraddha too
Bodied scam babbar
I stood up and started clapping while loudly shouting the pledge of allegiance after he skill issued the "american dream is dead" crowd. Good stuff.
I see another ballsy guy not afraid to call out idiots/influencers online. Way to go, my guy and I covered a similar video on my channel as well.
Love you brother ❤️ I watch your videos and live streams
@@Coder.tahsin aww thanks so much
"Every Biryani has an Elaichi"? Bro, elaichis I can handle. But the cloves...
3:44 - Medium - Where you can read the official docs paraphrased by a junior dev
That's the most truest sentence I heard in all my life, ever. Period.
Happy to see that I survived the violations
I wouldnt call this a violation, its more like facts
To be honest, when I am at my lowest in programming-facing deadlines and unfinished projects-I go to communities like Reddit and start to see posts/comments echoing what BigBox mentioned, like "data science is dead" and "AI will take our jobs," and it makes me feel bad. However, after watching this video, I now understand how these communities are full of idle talk. Thanks to BigBox for opening our eyes and telling us to "just code.
True
It is not just //cscareerquestions, its every damn community online, I would go on reddit because google would just give me bunch of irrelevant advertisements sites for whatever my inquiry is, then I would add 'reddit' to the search hoping to get at least one useful answer, and there are just a bunch of anons spitting horses.hit on whatever the subject is. Thats why the chatgpt is so revolutionary, they managed to make some sense out of all the nonsense you find online.
"more fingers than friends " --i felt that XD
This is my the programming channel I was looking for.
This is quality content, I really subscribed.
the references of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh relations had my dying. My man spoke very truthfully.
Medium is cringe 💯
Savage, but accurate. I 100% fell into the CZcams tech youtuber trap when I started coding. Turns out buying courses from people who spend 80% of their time marketing the course and 20% of the time making the course is a bad idea.
If you talk tech wise: The wrost developer community is of shopify developers community. Their documentation is a quite daunting task to understand and their helping material is way too much less.
The Lightning round of honorable mentions at the end of the video was the funniest part!
If you don't know the meaning of TC or GTFO in the clip, it means Total Compensation or Get The F**k Off
LMFAO thank you!
It's out not off
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as the Linux community, is in fact, the GNU/Linux community. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
4:09 dude you dodged a bullet right there
1:03 am soo dead at that linked in profile "serial entreprenuer" 🤣🤣🤣
that buildup into the sponsor is... brilliant (ba dum tss 🥁)
Smooth sponsor transition bro
LOVE your video!
new Vocabulary "Alright, Okay"
This video was too good!
Thank you BigBo, very cool
I can not count the times I have opened a medium article and it being just the official docs. People have no shame.
I just want to learn, but ended up showing up to class asking myself what in the ever loving fuck is going on, and one day watched a classmate somehow get stuck in an infinite loop on MySQL workbench in his command prompt.
Hey, do you know any mysql workbench learning resources? I can't find any, I need it for uni.
@@khronos2213 w3schools I find to be a pretty good source, and for some straightforward videos on youtube. Bro code is usually a good source for some quick learning.
This channel is a rare one in the programming content space on YT that uses funny, desi references to instil insecurity for the already doomed programmer, who’s biggest mistake after majoring in CS is not using VIM over VSCode
He did not miss with this one.
The medium take is soo true
I abs agree with everything but man stack overflow is useful
3:01 i can relate that !! In always an enjoyable food there's something awful like curry leaves or elaichi!!👍👍

I didnt expect bro to not talk shit about the linux community
i just get hands on experience of every new technology i wanna learn by building a ph clone
Oooff great roast, great video damnn
This was good but I felt you could have gone harder on stackoverflow; I remember moderators making it hell.
oh don't worry, stackoverflow deserves a whole video to itself
No bhaiya and didi was harmed in this video.
Gotta learn how bigboxSWE prepare his talk, would help in pitching an idea or a project. 😄
Hey I’m about to enter college in 6 months and I wanna take computer science as a major.but I have totally zero experience or knowledge in coding, what programming should I learn as a beginner, and what’s the best language to learn?
Where can I contact you for advice

Mentioning STACK OVERFLOW was a mistake
more the videos i see from bigbox the more i question his nationality
@2:10 can’t think of a better way to describe this new generation
SO : "duplicate thread by the way" 🤣
Bro really knows indian tech youtube
I use arch btw
Should do one with communities like Quora (even though not only programming content is there).
The other day I screenshotted a question I saw. "How do you solve 5.6 + 8.9?".
I'm so happy to wake up to this ngl
bro never misses!
bro the way you said elaichi hurt me
APNA COLLEGE mentioned! 😆
What's the "good" communities I wonder, as I'm a newbie to discussion of stuff
and after that comes linkedin tech enthusiast gurus
This is needed! after Sid the IT guy was sent a legal notice by an insecure DSA selling bhaiya didi influenzas
this video is cutthroat, no one is safe 😂
great content
Only reddit i like is unixpon, when i can forget all hate crimes and windows
3:45 best take in the video
I'm suprised you didn't mention /g/
lmao i installed arch yesterday please dont lump me with jocks
you missed one of the worst... the "we are building the future of finance" (blockchain) guys.
what about "ai experts" on Linkedin who feel legitimised to explain us all about LLMs because they chatted with gpt couple of times
El Classico: BuY mY cOuRsE
This channel evolved from wholesome motivational videos to toxic rants lol 😂
don't worry the motivational videos are still here XD i just prefer to do rants for sponsored videos
Bro finally completed his first project...
1:07 the truth hurts :(
Which are the best programming communities? Need to spoil them
Cant wait to see Prime react to this
0:49 All I ask is a simple question:
Why can't "programmers" program ?
TikTok: The place where you'll find evidence why layoffs were necessary 🤣🤣🤣
Does someone understand the "Stallman people" thing after 4:00?
"Change My View: Lolicon is harmless"?
(I'm assuming it refers to Richard Stallman.)
yup, guy is a pedo.
Yeah, it's about him. Google stallman dutch party.
What's the matter with indie hackers ? they build stuff
