    Cant wait for the Trollhattan video! I ran into you inside the museum. I told you I found your card with your CZcams Info on :) Don't know if you remember.

    Looked a bit of a mess with all that corrosive brake fluid everywhere.... good luck with the fix... am lucky to avoid any abs issues as running cars built in 1990....

    How can you clear the ABS and Brake fluid light with out a ISAT tool?

      They usually reset when you fix the problem. Mine did 🤷‍♂️

      @@theclassicsaabguy236 I replaced my Accumulator hoping that would fix the abs and brake light issue and sadly it didn't. When I apply the brakes now I only hear a clicking coming from the Solenoid Valve - not sure how this is tied into my brakes or how to test if its good or bad? Any suggestions? Saabs are something new to me as this is my first one.

    What issue we’re you having originally with the switch?

    • @theclassicsaabguy236
      @theclassicsaabguy236  Před 2 lety

      The pressure switch originally failed and then the pump failed

      @@theclassicsaabguy236 Gotcha. I think mine is intermittently failing when it’s very warm out I lose ABS. Great videos btw!

    i have also an ABS issiue, maybe you can help me out. the problem is that when the car isnt running, just standing still, the ABS drains electricity from my battery. now i was able find out that, everytime i unplug the pressure switch, which is next to the ABS pump, then i dont have a problem. so does this really mean that i need a new pressure switch?

      As far as I know the switch works off the ignition so shouldn't have any power when the car is off so that's very odd - unless I'm wrong. There's obviously some electrical issue regardless causing the switch to cycle. I'm not convinced replacing the pressure switch will solve the issue but it's the easier elimination so if you can get a donor switch to test I'd try that first yes

      @@theclassicsaabguy236 thats gonna be difficult to get a donor switch. however, i was checking the circuit plans for the ABS system, but i am not sure about how much i can trust these plans, since my 900 is from 1992 and an euro-modell, not US. i also saw that the power drain also stops, either, if i take out fuse 1 in the ABS fuse box, the ABS pump relais, or as sayed, the plug for the pressure switch. i first thought too that the issiue comes from the ABS controll module under the rear seat or the ignition switch, but i already tested both, they are not the fault. the wire behind fuse 1 goes directly to the battery terminal, further across the relais, and then to one of the 5 existing connections to the pressure switch

      @@kaisertrinityt.m.i.s1607 then I think you'll have to get the multimeter out and start checking for problems in the wiring - the electrical system is not my strong point and I'm having my own electrical woes right now trying to trace a bad ground to my brake lights
