- The first Attack Maximum Challenge series event of the 2020/2021 season.
During these unprecedented times with Covid-19, this event was also at risk of being cancelled but thankfully it was held once again at Sportsland Sugo.
The biggest names in the sport were scheduled to run but you'll quickly find out things didn't go as planned for many top teams and drivers.
Thank you all for waiting patiently during the off season and I hope to bring you as much coverage as possible again this season.

Awesome coverage as usual! Love seeing that ISF safety car too! I assume thats the one from Fuji Speedway they drove down.

Have you seen any development or success in the ND MX5 chassis at time attack events?
I suspect the prices are a bit high for a smaller team, and the advantages over an older roadster are incremental. The ND has great suspension and a stiffer shell, but once caged, that advantage is reduced. Just not a good deal to race one yet. It's not exactly by design that most of the cars racing are from the 90s and early 2000s, but simple economics and time with the platform.

At this event, it was just one group. At Attack Tsukuba, with the largest turnout, usually the top classes are separated into Turbo and NA. Then there are also the Second, Street Tire and Real Tuning (no aftermarket aero) classes.
@@ShuBoxInc awesome. Are there any restrictions on tire tread wear like Wtac?
@@Npg2 No. The top teams run A050s or Hoosiers more recently but you can also run "street" tires if you want. In that case, you will be categorized in the "Street Radials" class.
what tyre is the Friends silvia running? are those sslicks or just worn out semis? a050 or neovas?

A050 is their "S (semi-slick)" tire and the A052 is a "street" tire. They're both still sold now.
