- The first Zummy Racing event of 2021 at Tsukuba Circuit.
A tough day for most participants, with the multiple red flags and temperatures reaching over 16 degrees Centigrade.
I was back supporting Sougo in his OrangeBall Impact DC5 and SugarMeister in his OrangeBall S2000 therefore I wasn't able to get footage of all the cars running this time.
Instead, I have included a paddock walk so at least you can see the cars that were there.
As always, hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!

thanks for recording it. always very interesting to watch and the fact that you show times (including past events) is just splendid!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you so much for these videos! I didn't know that these time attacks were ever ran, let alone by such classy and talented people. It is an absolute joy to watch
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you for taking the time to go over the paddock and showcase the cars. Nice to have more info than just their times.
Edit: lmfao... Watching an EK and an Integra lay down better laps than a Vette and a half dozen 7's? Oh THAT was a good day lol.
Thanks for sharing, always a pleasure to watch TA events at Tsukuba
Thank you for watching!
Fantastic coverage. Love the videos and the information. Can't wait for you to cover attack Tsukuba
Thanks for watching!
I really appreciate your videos. You let the sound of the cars and the sounds of the Track speak. The cliff notes are spot on. Keep up the good work
Exactly. Don't think I have anything to say that would sound better than these cars.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
love your content! thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Iv said it many times but thank you for these amazing videos!!!
Thank you for watching!
Jeez!, gucci m3 flexin' kinda hard. (Flatbottom game is tight nearly all of these)
Definitely one good looking car.
I suppose the DC5 is not too loud for Tsukuba then? ^^
Excited to see what it will do this season :) Also hoping for 砂糖先生 (hehe) to finally push into the 59's!
Yes, it was ok :)
Very excited for the OrangeBall cars this season.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing these events. People of all backgrounds get a glimpse of what it would be like at the Tsukuba track on a fresh morning with participants. Also works as a motivator for finishing projects hehe.
Great video! Was hoping to see Ton and his Aslan eg6...
great video as always!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
5:34 cheeky sticker on display ;)

Thanks for watching! ;)
That EG engine is beautiful
Definitely nice!
Thanks for watching!

@@ShuBoxInc Amazing Cars! Top top level..
Thanks!!!!!
Thank you!
thank you
Thank you for watching!
At this point they should just call this the classic time attack series.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome.. hoping to see some “in-car” footage in future.
Most drivers upload their own in-car footage.
When I come across them, I usually link them on our Facebook page.
Thanks for watching!
@@ShuBoxInc youre recording their cars, Simply ask drivers to share their footage via Google drive. The algorithm is liking your channel atm, that’s how I discovered you. I prefer not going to Facebook.
@@Mnpctech_Giveaway_PC_Mods Interesting! Thanks for the input. I'll look into it.
Mr ShubBox, love your videos thank you for the great content as always. I was wondering, is there any class in time attack japan where they use no aero upgrades?
Thanks for watching and commenting!
The RT (Real Tuning) class, introduced a couple years ago, restricts any non-OEM aero on the car.
A good example is ASM's new demo S2000, which is completely street legal.
Absolutely brilliant video as always! Been watching your channel for a while now and really love the information given!
I do have Question, what’s rules with external waste gates ? Do they have to be recirculated back into the exhaust as I don’t hear many screamer pipes in these videos (which is a good thing)
Hope your well
Thanks for the support!
No, they do not have rules regarding that.
The Dragon Racing FD3S is an example of a car switching to an external waste gate setup for this season.
Definitely much louder now.
RWB owned Corvette ZR1 looks strikingly similar to the silver one Advance Auto use to campaign at time attack events in Japan in the past.
Not sure if they're the same cars but I'll try asking if I get the opportunity.|
Thanks for watching!
nice!
Thanks for watching!
💜
cool civic
Thanks for watching!
How did they keep their tires warm? I didn't see any teams bringing tire warmers
Most didn’t bother this day, with the dirty track surface and high temperatures.
Thanks for watching!
great session! now cmon, what cars were causing the stoppages?
Accidents happen to everyone ;)
Hopefully the next event goes smoother.
Thanks for watching!
What are the rules of car spec( hp/weight) for this time attack?
The top classes are only divided into Turbo and N/A and besides that, not much.
There are other newer classes such as Real Tuning which only allow factory OEM aero.
Nice! I like 2c how these cats are gitn'down in Japan. Aero-$tudy'n
Thanks for watching!
Just hope Gran Turismo 7 can modify cars just like this.
Thanks for watching!
Who makes the CF doors on sougo’s dc5?
It's actually a no-name brand he picked up a few years ago online.
@@ShuBoxInc any idea of the name of the website? Thank you.
@@1siksivik It was on Yahoo Auctions and is apparently not sold anymore.
Damn. Thanks for letting me know.
@shuboxinc I think I found it. Does jdm autolink sound familiar? www.jdmautolink.net/p/carbon-fibre-doors.html?m=1
would suggest you get a nice gyro to lessen the shake and a remote for zooming in and out.
If I were at these events solely for filming, I would have gotten one with a decent camera by now but I'm usually doing so in between supporting my friends or running myself as well as taking photos, so a handheld video camera I can shove into my pocket or throw down is what I use now.
Maybe something to think about for next season.
Thanks for watching!
