2021.10.24 Attack Tohoku 2021 - アタック東北2021

The first event of the 2021/2022 Attack season kicked off from Attack Tohoku at Sportsland Sugo once again.
With only 22 cars running, there were no issues with getting clear laps and that meant many cars hit new PBs.

This was shot on a new 4K vid cam but I tried 1080p at 60fps, as the 4k setting only has 30fps.
However, I will test the 4K setting at the next 12/1 Tsukuba event so stay tuned for that video in early December.

I've been watching your wonderful content for a few years now but please forgive my ignorance, when the sessions are split into free runs and super laps is only one session counted? What makes one pick a certain session over the other?

Yes, both types of runs are held in the same 20-30 min session.
Generally, front runners that are going all out for that new PB will select a Super Lap. These cars would also need to be using tire warmers since there are only two times laps.
Some drivers/cars might even only do one timed lap, as is the case with Fire Ando and his ESCORT Evo 9.
Whatever time left in the session after all Super Laps are done will be for the Free Run group.
