Such a nice and relaxing project. I normaly dont use the magic circle for grannysquares, but You could do that if You want.

Hello! No worries at all, that’s a great question! 😊 If you’re working with the same color, you can absolutely continue using the same technique. Just chain three at the beginning of each round to keep your stitch count consistent. When you’re not changing colors, you don’t need to worry about the color transitions-just focus on keeping your rounds even and consistent. Lovely granny square. Would this be too thick for a sweater? Or depends on the yarn though, right? Especially in a warm location.
