Mike's voice was very important to the Beach Boys sound , and of course his songwriting. I've been a big fan of them here in New Zealand for a very long time . Favorite band without doubt. ❤
It’s nice that they mentioned Brian around the 8:30 mark. It’s pretty obvious after the Disney Love/Love documentary that they are trying to do a revisionist history number on The Beach Boys. Credit to Mike on lyrics to many great songs, and continuing the BB songs on stage to this day, but make no mistake, Brian is the reason they ever existed to begin with.
I have nothing aginst John but Im irritated with his presence with the "Beachboys". Ive seen 3 times early on and always cherished the Momories. Thanx for the Muse.

Mike Love, just know since you let John Cowsill go from your cover band it’s not worth bothering with. A huge part of the talent that made the band great was drummer John Cowsill, his drumming talent as well as singing. Now Johns no longer with you I’m now a huge fan of Al Jardines band.

No, Kevin's father is Stan Love (Mike's brother), Stan also played in the NBA
as Mike says in the video.
Mike is actually Kevin’s uncle. Kevin’s dad is Mike’s brother Stan, who also played in the NBA
His father is Stan. Kevin was born in Oregon when his dad played for the Trailblazers. Kevin grew up in Oregon City, OR.
