This whole situation was absolutely ridiculous from both ownership and the fan's eyes. Bettman visits each town once per year, and sure - the optics didn't look good when it was tied into the recent articles written about Chipman's comments about the long-term sustainability...but to have people assume that the team was going to be ripped away from its frail, little clutches after only 3 years of 3/4ths filled attendance following a 9-10 year run of sellouts? Give me a break. Best for everyone to find a solution - mainly from a True North aspect - and people can start going to games again without feeling scared that the team is going to leave.

I feel city hall owns a lot of this.
The downtown area is still horrendous. True North should not be responsible for rebuilding the entire downtown.
All downtowns in N America are a mess unless u are a metropolis
Mean while in Arizona ,the Coyotes play in a 5000 seat arena,and Bettman is ok with that.
