    These are perfect on vehicle hoods. They cut down sun glare A LOT.

    It is acting a lot like skateboard griptape, which is a pain to work with lol. Thanks for the video.

      Thanks and thanks for watching! Yeah, it is kind of like grip or no-slip tape. I can be tough to work with, but in the right applications, it's not bad.

    Would you recommend this on a simple bar type countertop? Bullnose edge is about the only profile it has. Thanks

    You think this would stick to concrete? Thinking of wrapping my porch.

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 3 lety

      I'm not sure, but my initial inclination is it likely would not stick very well, particularly because this is listed as an automotive vinyl which is removable and repositionable. If it was intended to be a permanent adhesive, maybe. But also, concrete is extremely porous and low surface energy. To get it to stick, you would probably have to heat it a lot and put a lot of pressure evenly to ensure the vinyl is pressed into the concrete very well.

      Thank you for your reply. Also wondering if you think it would work in the bath tub with the water exposure.

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 3 lety

      @@nerfball211 you could, but Im not sure how well it would fare. You'd have to ensure the vinyl is pressed down onto the tub very well and the edges are sealed down very well to ensure no water gets under the vinyl.

    Could you wrap a motor home with pits in the paint with this and the pits not show since it’s so thick

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 3 lety

      I'm not 100% certain, but I think so. I recently wrapped the hood of my car with this material, and the hood had a lot of missing paint and paint chips, and after applying this vinyl I could not see any indentations where the missing paint was. However, depending on how deep the pits might be, you might still be able to see them, and you run the risk of having pockets of air underneath the vinyl where the pits are. In the Sun or in hot temperatures, because air expands, those pockets of airs could present as bubbles in the vinyl.

      Here’s my hood with this vinyl on it. You can’t tell where the paint chips are on the hood because it is so thick

    This looks like some type of polyurea material (Line-X, Rhinoliner, etc.).

      Yes, the texture is very similar.

      @@ColorChangeCustoms - I figured. I can't tell if they sprayed it directly on the backing, or used a vinyl substrate.

    any idea if a knifeless tape will cut this puppy?

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 3 lety

      I've actually not tried. I just may have to do a video on that! Off the to of my head..Design line likely not. Finish line, maybe. Maybe the knifeless for PPF will.

      @@ColorChangeCustoms That would be awesome if you can make a video on how this vinyl performs. There are very little videos on this type of vinyl.
      Thank you in advance!

      I finally got around to making a video to see if Knifeless can cut this vinyl. Here's the link! czcams.com/video/IwR52IEgq30/video.html

      Sorry for the late reply. Should be able to see it now. Bottom line is Finish Line Knifeless tape will cut it, but not Design Line Knifeless.

    So the feeling is like electrical tape

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 3 lety +1

      It's actually like grip tape or no-slip tape in the way the rough texture feels.
