    Your attention to detail is absolutely inspiring! I entered vvivid indestructible into the youtube search engine, and your video showed up or I may never have found you. I am extremely impressed by your professionalism, especially your attention to detail, which is today, all but a lost concept! Great job!!!

    I have been trying to decide between this black indestructible vinyl or a regular Vvivid vinyl in demon red for my black BMW, this looks really good ty for the video.

      Thanks and thanks for watching. Honestly I'm not sure as I've rewrapped my hood about 4 more times since 😂

      @@ColorChangeCustoms got it...I put it on my 2021 MBZ Revel Van (the high impact zones only including the pop-outs) and all the bends and corners bubbled in the sun within two week. The flat surfaces seemed to be fine. Not happy with it at all. I also put it on my 2019 Metris bumpers, I spliced all the tight bends and its holding up so far but it took forever to make it look as seem-less as possible. I appreciate all your videos, you have taught me a lot. Thanks!

      @@RobRoserealtor sorry for the late reply. I do know that you have to really post heat this vinyl almost to the point of it melting, particularly on corners and edges. I appreciate you watching my videos and I’m glad they have been helpful. Cheers!

    Why don't most wrap installers don't wrap down under the hood a couple extra inches ? This way if the wrap shrinks it's got a couple extra inches to stretch, what do you think ?

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 2 lety

      You can if you want, but it takes extra time, sometimes a lot. For color change, all you need is enough so that the edges are covered and it looks like paint. If you do go under, most only go the the pinch seam under the edge of the hood, around a quarter inch or so usually.

    Would this be any good for hiding micro dents?
    I've bought a car and the roof is damaged, been sprayed and filled, unfortunately stuck with it
    took me a while to notice the damage on the roof (can see it when the sun shines and you're standing at certain angles).

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před rokem +1

      I would say it really depends. This vinyl is very thick and has a texture to it, so it can hide a lot of things but in some cases it may not. Vinyl is a lot like paint in that it follows the flow of the surface it's applied to, so depending on the dents, this vinyl may or may not hide it completely.

      @iTurniKill Před rokem

      @@ColorChangeCustoms thank you for the reply. I think I'm gonna go for it and see what happens. I think with it being textured it should help hopefully and it's thicker than normal which is good

    Could this vinyl mask imperfections in a roof with hail damage?

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 11 dny

      In my opinion, not really. Although this vinyl is thick, it conforms to the shape of the surface it's applied, so depending on how deep the hail dents are, you'll likely still see those.

    How has it held up? :) tempted to order some and wrap mine.

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 3 lety

      It held up fine. Some of the edges started to come up a little bit but I think that's because I probably did not heat and press it down well enough. This vinyl requires a lot of extra heat to ensure your edges stay down because it is so thick. But otherwise it held up fine in the time that I had it on before changing it out to a camo print vinyl.

    hi, friend I just installed that same vinyl in my car, but I feel it is very fragile, what would be the correct way to wash the car?

    • @ColorChangeCustoms
      @ColorChangeCustoms  Před 11 měsíci

      For cars that are vinyl wrapped, I usually just recommend hand washing and not going through a car wash.
