Vvivid Indestructible Wrap (Does this actually work?)

- We needed to find a way to protect our truck with the bigger tires. We found this #Vvivid #Indestructible wrap looking for different options. After a lot of debate, we decided to see if this would work.
It is crazy how many people walk up to touch the truck now. We are very pleased at how it is doing. The main question will come with any problems that will develop from the seams.
I have the 2022 Limited in graphite and used clear wrap on the rear fenders to keep the rock chips down. The rocker panels are getting chipped and I looked into Line-X, but they want $850 and two days to do just that small part below the doors. I'm glad I found your channel and will be ordering this product for my rocker panels. I've wrapped an aircraft, so I know the process and have the tools. Thanks for being a test pilot!

Absolutely LOVE the indestructable wrap! ! ! I want to do my truck with that stuff. If I get back into RVing again, I will drive from Seattle to meet Zack and have him wrap my truck in that stuff. He sure did a great job on your rig, and yes, I love the green accents! ! !

2020 GMC 3500 bought it new first trip rock chips all over the dually fender fronts. Great idea. I love the 2 tone look

I think it looks pretty darn good please keep us updated on upkeep longevity and such I pull with a black gmc dually got me thinking road trip to see Zach the dually man just for no spots ughhh.

I have a ram dually too, love my truck I put splash guards on all tires.
Not knocking the wrap job, it does look nice! The green looks cool. But I think it was a bit over kill on the sandpaper wrap. 😂. Cheers 🍻

We think since the wrap is called Vvivid you should name it Vivian or Viv for short. Great video and love all of the cool things you're doing to the vehicles and toy hauler.

I have a 2021 with 4000 miles and stock wheels and tires on it and have the same problem with rock chips.
I really like the idea of the wrap instead of a spray on material.
Mine has a piece of clear stone guard on the front of the rear fender but it's only comes up about 5-6 inches which is not far enough.
I lived in Lenexa until recently and his work was great. I am trying to justify getting a wrap on my Motor Home. It’s a 2003 but fabulous shape and think it would look fabulous. Love the Truck. Name idea SIC (Switch It Custom)
What are your wheel and tire sizes? Was a front leveling kit required and/or rear bags? I have the same year Ram, color and trim package. I am looking to do something similar and get rid of the hideous stock wheels and tires. Your Ram looks good and I enjoy your videos. Thank You

Thank you for being a part of the journey - when we had the truck wrapped it was around about a week in timeframe because he totally took all the handles etc off. This was an expensive choice but it has saved the paint many times- cost was around 3500 in 2020. Hope that helps

Mudflaps would help as well. Some states have mudflap laws.

It's only a leveling kit for the front - not technically a lift.

Always thought I would put green scales... Make my car look like a dragon since I have an impossible task of finding my color forest/emerald/metallic green range... Unfortunately have other priority projects I need to do... For now.

How has the wrap held up? Does it wash easily, or does it tend to want to hold dirt?
The wrap has held up nice and it is easy to wash for sure.
How’s the wrap holding up? Is it still shiny? Are the edges holding strong?
The wrap is great -we had one area in a very curvy spot lift probably about 2 inch corner, so we just removed that little spot and all is great

We had one small piece lift in a very curvy part of the dually wheels but other than that it has held up very well
Did you just remove all the emblems? Looks like it does not stretch as well as most vinyl's?
It is thicker than the normal vinyl so there is very little stretch/give. And the emblems were all above the vinyl line so we did not have to remove them.
I’m looking for a temporary wrap to protect my truck while exploring Big Bend National Park. Seeing this as an option on Amazon that I could put on the lower parts of my truck. I’d look to talk it off after, is it easy to remove?
Yes easy to remove because of how thick it is.
These thick wraps should always have an extra couple inches into the seam, under the hood, inside fenders, etc. Cause this will allow for shrinkage or future manipulation.
Can you review your truck now that you have put some miles on it? Would you choose another tow vehicle ?

First I live in the western slope of the Rockies, don't waist money on bugs, put a grill guard enough to stop elk, deer, moose, cows, horse and drunk homeless people. You will need to keep the radiator safe enough to get to a shop. You think I am bsing, you seen the white tails dead on the side of the road. Just a thought. KS near Polish hill?
