Can't believe it's 12 years. And Daryl became everything Gary would have wanted. I'm not a religious man, but I'd worship at the House of Daryl any day.

I was born in Flushing, New York and I have been a Mets fan from that day. Gary Carter was and always will be my favorite New York Mets player!
I hope someday soon that his number will be retired. There is only one #8 in New York Mets history.
