Well said coach, it just pisses everyone off with inconsistent bad calls & bad judgment!
Klemmers was worse and didn’t get sent off. The inconsistencies are ludicrous and like he said the bunker are destroying the game.
Holmes gets a fine and klemmer face 3 to 4 weeks on the sideline...great job Bunker
Some of you need to look up what a hip drop is before commenting
Should be more concerned by the paper thin defence Todd.
Only thing stopping Scotty Drinkwater wearing the Blues No1 is his commitment to defence. He will be the complete player if he can improve that aspect of his game.
It wasn't a hip drop. It was an unfortunate accident, contributed by Dearden falling on him.
Disagree it wasn’t
He grabs him loses his feet , still holding on and all his weight was on the attacking player. Dirty or targeted? no , but still an unfortunate hip drop none the less.
It was two hip drops.
@@Alakazam551 he's barely holding him and releases. Most of the damage is caused by Dearden coming in
He's already been cleared by the MRO. Only getting a fine.
The bunker should only be allowed to have a say if the onfield ref refers it upstairs like it used to be. It’s a joke
So we're going to miss some pretty awful things because the ref only has two eyes and because frank the tank (the 5445th account with that name) says so? Odd.
It was a textbook hip drop 😂 tf you talking about
Good Win Lads, NQ,
Klemmer's hip drop was pulled up by the bunker and put on report, why couldn't they sin bin him then aswell?
Can’t sin bin for previous event. Never have been able too.
THAT was NOT a hip drop. I agree with Todd. It's a joke. Who is in the bunker ? I've played this game forever, and I'll come back to Oz from the UK if sanity ( and money ) gives me a job in the bunker. They're 4KN useless.
It is a hip drop through and through, unfortunate dearden forced it to happen.
Another whinging coach deflecting from the real problems in his side.
Todd feeling the pressure of having a top 6 roster that isn't performing well against all but the bottom sides.
Not even performing well v bottom sides, lol. Lost to Titans, scraped by Bunnies, less than convincing v Tigers. Todd won’t be coaching us next year unless things drastically change
That wasn't my take from the interview, I found he was quite honest about the teams failings and areas requiring improvement.
you clearly were not listening
Not a finals team
Get rid of the bunker it’s seriously killing the game
Not a hip drop
Yes agree Han 😎
By the black and white definition, it’s a hip drop.
Yes that was no hipdrop tom came in over the top make it look worse
Was literally a hip drop
BAN THE BUNKER, it is destroying the game of Rugby League as we all know it. It was brought in to make the calls the right ones, but it has far too many inconsistencies in doing just that and is now wrecking the game big time !!
Hip drop clear as daylight, grabs the play on the hips and pulls down with force onto his legs - it’s really not that hard
Hip Drops
A hip drop tackle is where a defending player in joining or committing a tackle, drops or uses their own body weight to apply pressure to an opponent’s legs in such a way as to constitute an unacceptable risk of injury to the tackled player, this will constitute Dangerous Contact.
This type of conduct will include instances where a defending player drops their weight through their hips or through any other part of their body on to an opponent’s leg/s and in doing so places them in a vulnerable position. The concern about this type of action is that it traps, twists, and contorts muscles, tendons and joints in lower limbs in an unnatural way exposing the ball carrier to an elevated risk of injury.
Now tell me at what stage did Holmes actually have a hold on the attacking player?
@@phillipstock2652how the hell did you look up the definition, copy and paste it, and then still miss the point? 🤣🤣
@@TheBlackguard
I'll take guidance from the match review committee.
Not from some fool with no idea.
@@phillipstock2652 MRO has ruled. Only a fine. It was ridiculous sin bin.
@@imalwaysright exactly
I understand the coach supporting his player.
But that looked 100% a hip drop when you compare it to all the others throughout the season.
It was unfortunate but the punishment suited the crime he deserved to be sin binned it was a hip drop. I think he also deserves to be suspended as well for his actions like others have been this season.
Go to spec savers, bud.
Inconsistencies....qld origin played accused of rape. Isn't named or stood down. Until HQ are consistent, the game won't be.
Well it was a clear hip drop whats he on anout? 😂
Get off the drugs
@@maxlake3138 learn the rules mate
All these Cowboys supporters are delusional.
Definitely wasnt and I hate the Cowboys.
No idea, like the Bunker.
That was absolutely a hip drop. He should've just wrapped up his ankles and he would've went down instead of the hips
Nonsense,
Holmes fell off the tackle, No way that’s a hip drop!
He was knocked off the tackle by Tom Dearden colliding with him.
At no stage did he wrap himself around the body.
Fkn Bunker, interferes then but not on Klemmers tackle?
Nah if you're tackling from behind you should be tackling at the legs not the hips. He put himself in that situation
@@lachlanblackstock3857
Horseshit again, he never had a grab before Dearden knocked him off the tackle.
He won the game. Why’s he complaining?
About the bunker not doing the job saying on player get sent off for a hip drop and another player does the same and not get in trouble
Because this ridiculous bunker decision had his side one man down for ten minutes.
Match review committee will clear him to play next week.
