11:45 I’m on the quest platform and I create games and this part REALLY hit hard. This year I built for 1 week in total but only played 8 days in total, that 1 week totals would probably be 1 day if it was not for the constant lagging out, without saving. Also it sometimes takes 10 seconds to load the colors tab and one time i crashed just by taking out the makerpen. So this part REEALLLY hit hard, besides that keep making the great content!

11:47 as a psvr player I will say that sometimes when I open a menu (at all it doesn’t even need to be maker pen) it will crash my game due to how much lag there is. It’s uncommon but the regular lag spikes are like 3 seconds long and I can’t do anything in that period of time.
Also don’t forget the instant camera pop when and you just crash in a millisecond
every point you make with the UI i 100% agree with and they need to change. (especially the pallette and lag)
1:47 so what I do is I make it send events to room authority then I make room authority send an updated list to every other player
Rec room is a great game for people that like to make games
Quest 2 makerpen isn’t nearly as laggy as your lag was, atleast in my experience. Even in rooms 2.0 or limits v2 it only lags w 2000+ ink lol

For complaint #8, there is a setting to switch between scale when created and move when created

11:17 this is not a bug its a setting in the "create tool settings" tab on maker pen its called "create shape mode" you can switch it from scale and move (move is the setting you have it on)

2:15 i'm pretty sure this list isn't accurate for people added *after* people are added to the list. Like, if a room has 4 people, and players 1,2,3,4 are tagged in that order it'll display correctly for all of them, but then if a 5th player joins the game and checks the list, their instance of it is jumbled.

Hey BVR I am making a rec room PvP map and I need you to make a health bar and health bar above their head and make it so the guns respawn you and you can update the map in whatever way you want to

On Xbox the config menu is practically unusable unless you tear it.
Ingredients
2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature, plus more for the pans
3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for the pans
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups sugar
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups whole milk (or 3/4 cup heavy cream mixed with 1/2 cup water)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter two 9-inch-round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper; butter the parchment and dust the pans with flour, tapping out the excess.
Whisk 3 cups flour, the baking powder and salt in a bowl until combined. Beat 2 sticks butter and the sugar in a large bowl with a mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Reduce the mixer speed to medium; beat in the eggs, one at a time, scraping down the bowl as needed. Beat in the vanilla. (The mixture may look separated at this point.) Beat in the flour mixture in 3 batches, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with flour, until just smooth.
Divide the batter between the prepared pans. Bake until the cakes are lightly golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Transfer to racks and let cool 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edge of the pans and turn the cakes out onto the racks to cool completely. Remove the parchment. Trim the tops of the cakes with a long serrated knife to make them level, if desired.

Me and my friend play on PSVR, so I can confirm the game freezes for about half a second every menu open or invention spawn.
Side note: my friend tried to take a picture and it crashed his game... Twice...

Hey BVR, can you make a working turret that shoots and turns like a real one and deals damage to players and bots please.
Theres no way to damage bots currently with circuitry. Bots are basically seen as objects rather than something you can damage. So its like trying to take health away from a table

Nah psvr ain’t that bad. I actually haven’t got any dramatic lag spikes or lag surprisingly. They still exist but aren’t as bad as you might think
