  • In this episode of the Oregon Music Garage Build (O.M.G.) we install the standing seam metal roof on the porches and I show you some install details. I also show you how awesome the Swenson Shear Snap Table Pro is.
The Swenson Shear Snap Table Pro was a large investment for RR Buildings, but my thoughts were as we continue to elevate our buildings, standing seam roofing will continue to be a method of roof install and it will pay for itself.

You should stop watching because the drip edge goes on before anything else yo avoid water daming up and ice damage. He should know that by now if you been watching for a year. Water runs down hill. You must buck water.

For me, the ideas in czcams.com/users/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

Nice to see someone else that actually turns ends and caps snaplock ends.. been doing these 20 years and most don't do it. Also someone that cuts all trim into together rather than just overlap

Have shown my builder son here in Tasmania Aus ,a couple of your vids on finishing metal window trim. He now does it the same after watching your method. Reckons it is faster, simpler and creates a better finish.

Ever think of having an old plastic drum or the like on the lift for chucking all the small off cuts into rather than on the floor? Nice to see the shear in action, that looks like it could make easy work of any stray fingers! You can really get through the runs when on a straight roof with no hips etc. Looks great!

And all eve should be installed then string lined to make sure it is straight there for your first panel that way you can 6/8/10 the first panel installation. If you do not string line, nothing is going to be true

I'm a standing seam expert because I saw it on CZcams. Honestly, I have only seen it done in real life and on here. You didn't crimp the overlap seams where the panels lap over. Does this system use nibs that lock it together?
