How do you like the Jobe versus the other one
The gasket position does matter, but only in regards to the shoulder on the bulkhead or other fittings (not inside vs outside the tank)...always place the gasket against the shoulder and not against the nut that tightens it down. Against the shoulder, it makes a seal between the tank wall and the shoulder, where the liquid cannot reach the threads. If you put the gasket against the nut, there is no seal between the threads and the liquid, and liquid can seep along the threads under the nut and leak out of the system.
